We travel to TS every month...our home away from home! We love the view of Lake Nipissing but mostly we love Marina,her staff and the cleanliness....I’m a clean freak and this resort is top notch. We bring our chairs and sip wine on the veranda...heaven! A few things to know.... All rooms face the lake! Request first floor if you have trouble doing stairs,although the view on the second floor is amazing! Make a reservation...it’s usually booked up. LCBO in Callander is 5min.away They have a good restaurant on site with friendly service and great food..mostly Pub fare. Outdoor /indoor seating with a view of the sunset. Opens at 5pm The manager can hook you up with a fishing guide,summer or winter ice fishing. There is a small walking chip and putt golf course at the resort.

Terrace Suites is the only place I stay when going to Callander. The view is spectacular. The rooms are beyond comfortable with fireplace that can be viewed from the living room and bedroom. The Manager Marina is just a sweet heart...she goes out of her way to please everyone. I plan a return visit very shortly!!

This is the FIRST time I have ever written a review while STILL in the place. I was so taken by the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the place, and the wonderful suite provided. It had everything we needed and was spacious and very well appointed. WOW. It's November and cold and snowy and we were up here in North Bay on business, but I can imagine it would be absolutely stunning in the summer, just from what I saw as I entered. Exellent, excellent, excellent, is all I can say. A great in=suite fireplace. A spacious suite with everything provided. A great little restaurant with delicious food attached and friendly service. Everything is amazing. Book here and you won't be disappointed. WOW. JUST AMAZING ... a real pleasure.

Booked our night stay at the last minute, and couldn't have made a better choice. Beautiful room, clean and very comfortable. If you are looking for a place to eat, just walk to the adjoining resturant very good food, and a stunning view of the sunset.

Chanced upon this place while looking for a place to eat - local gas station owner pointed me in their direction. The restaurant and suites are situated at an elevation - a point of vantage - overlooking Lake Nipissing. I had spent a couple of days exploring the Lake's surroundings (North Bay, the town of Nipissing itself, etc.) and can safely say that the view from Terrace Suites has got to rank among the very best!! Terrace Suites itself is a picture worthy building set in a scenic setting that I look forward to returning to stay in overnight together with my wife. For this visit I had to satisfy myself with partaking of a delicious lunch of fish (haddock) & chips. I stayed here while on business in North Bay. Usually stay at chain hotels but they were full so I came to Terrace Suites in Callendar. It’s clean, comfortable and quiet at night. The staff are attentive and very friendly. The food at the attached restaurant was above expectations. There is something on the menu to please all tastes. Next time I come to North Bay I will skip the chain hotels and gladly stay here again.

My fiance and I have stayed at Terrace Suites several times. We can't get enough of the magnificent view, the incredible hospitality from the hotel manager, Marina (she's such a gem) and the wonderful feeling of the whole area. We wanted for nothing. It is so worth the drive from southern Ontario. Can't wait to go again soon!!!

Loved this place. Very rustic and homey, looks like it was recently renovated. Also very spacious and clean, with amazing views. I loved the fireplace which was double sided, living room and bedroom. I hope to return in the summer.

My husband, mother-in-law, and 5 month old recently stayed here for a wedding we were attending at the Mel Gibson Ranch. We were all pleasantly surprised at the size of the suite! It's spacious enough for all of us and we never felt crowded. The A/C worked well, and it was kept nice and cool. A few notes on the room and grounds: - it is well hidden, and sneaks up on you from the road - also, use caution when pulling in - very large potholes in front of the driveway - no kettle for teas/hot water (we had to use the mini coffee pot) - No toaster - only one fork and one butter knife provided in room - hot plate provided, but no pots Overall, we really had an amazing time. It just seemed like they could use a couple of extra hands on deck, and it's definitely time to fix up that…

We arrived late afternoon on the Saturday of the long weekend. As regular visitors to the Nipissing region, we were looking forward to a relaxing weekend with access to a cool lake. We felt fortunate to find a vacancy at Terrace Suites with its great views of Lake Nipissing. Our first impressions of the property were very positive (you can't beat that view) and the hosts (Marina, Joel and Ella) were very welcoming and kind. They demonstrated grace under pressure as they were dealing with a local power outage as the weekend rush got under way.
