Good hotel just a couple of minutes walk from the center of this small town. Rooms comfortable, though quite basic, with beautiful view to the valley. Wifi working fine. Breakfast tasty, but selection quite limited. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Own parking garage in basement, but not accessible with any bigger car. Would definately stay again!

I loved this hotel. It's true that it is quite hard to find in a car, but so what! Once you are there you are welcomed by the most charming owner and his wife and there is easy parking in the underground car park. We had the most fabulous room with views over the valley that leave you mesmerised. Breakfast... More

This hotel is very nice, with many rooms along floors with many levels so lots of steps, although I did see a chair lift on a back stairway that could be used to provide accessibility, if needed. They include parking, right near to their building. The owners are very nice - little English but there is a young woman who... More

We were happy with our stay here. Average size room, large bathroom (shower head was not attached to wall). Plenty of hot water and the wifi was great. Breakfast was average, with a very nice fruit salad and yogurt. The most outstanding part of this hotel was the large and accommodating, well lit, deck. We sat and had a glass... More

Great stay in a wonderful place in an beautiful town. Our room was clean, comfortable and had an amazing view of the valley (see pic). The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. It’s a bit tricky to get to, but If you do your homework on google maps you should have no problem. It helps to have a compact car... More

This is a hotel of charm and old world character. We loved our brief stay. Spello itself is a great little town. Quite a few tourists but most of them Italian so it still has a "local feel". Plenty to see and do and the narrow streets are splendid. The hotel is by no means modern but it is clean... More

We stayed at II Cacciatore Hotel in Spello, Umbria for 4 nights at the end of September. The view from our valley facing room was incredible. We had lunch and breakfast on the panoramic outdoor terrace. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is located in the heart of medieval Spello. We explored all of the quaint little... More

Stayed here a few years ago and loved the hotel, restaurant and views. Liked it so much we drove back from Assisi on a trip last year just for lunch on the terrace. Same staff was there and we were more than pleased with the food. If you are in Umbria, I am not sure you could stay anywhere more... More

We spent 2 nights at The Cacciatore which we found to be clean and welcoming. The bed was probably one of the best we had in Italy. Breakfast was basic in terms of choice but was good and with pleasant service. The view was spectacular and left us wishing we had more time to explore the surrounding areas. Assisi was... More
