Have just returned from a week at the Orange House with two other friends, for our first time climbing in Spain, and for 2 of us, our first time sport climbing outdoors. We were met immediately by Dan and shown to our room in the 'granny annex'. The room was basic but clean with a hot and well pressurised shower....

This is our second stay at The Orange House. We love it. So easy to fall into the routine of this place. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Nothing too much trouble. Informative and extremely helpful with regards to best locations. A place full of like minded people from all across the globe. After a hard day of climbing...

The area is a mecca for climbers in that perfectly situated for some of the best limestone sport and adventures climbing. The Orange Houses biggest selling point is that its full of like-minded people who share a passion. With the wind from the east our room temperature fell to ambient at night, as climbers no problem we just put on...

Hi Matt, Sam the owner here. When the temps dropped at night did you mention to the staff so they could put the heaters out again! I am guessing as we had just had a heatwave that they has been taken from the rooms. Also its great when people leave a note in the suggestion box about windows missed from...

We came as a couple of boulderers who could tie a figure 8 and left as a couple of climbers. Our instructor Rich Mayfield is just brilliant! He identified areas of weakness and coaches you to push through your mental boundaries and train your physical weaknesses. He's also an incredible climber who knows all the crags and routes like the...

I love The Orange House! I have stayed many times over the last 10 years and have always enjoyed a very warm and friendly welcome for Sam and Richard. They are great hosts. The 'Orangers' work hard to try to keep a very busy Hostel clean and tidy, never easy with so many climbers staying, most of whom want to...

I recently stayed at the Orange House for a week end of Jan/beginning of Feb. My partner and a few of my friends have stayed there before and raved about how awesome it was. They weren't lying! I felt completely at home there. All the amenities were easily accessible, clean and best of all... the shower was hot! Just want...

- Good place to meet other climbers, usually foreign climbers, so you better speak English! - The house is nice, the view as well. The place just needs to be a bit taken care of. This could be a really nice place... - the camping area (grass area) is full of dog poop, which is not cleaned everyday ... so...

Reviews mean so much to a small business like ours and my heart is always in my mouth when I start to read. We all care so very much about The Orange House and after 14 years this will never change and when we read a negative review it really makes us all very sad, staff and owners equally. I...

Elle, thanks for the positive comments made about The Orange House. I am sorry that you thought the inside was a little unloved! We made a mistake this year and had decided to have stag and hen groups and then Family rental and then stags again! We do change around alot of the things inside, like nice bedside lights, rugs,...
