St. George's Caye Resort is the place to go for a relaxing stay on an island of Belize - only 20 minutes by boat from Belize City. We had a beachy cabana on the ocean front but there is no bad cabana there. All are within walking distance to the beach, pool, and lodge where you dine. Food is well...

My husband and I went to St. George's to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We have never done a trip quite like this and after reading a few negative reviews we were nervous. All of that went away from the moment we arrived and saw the accommodations. The grounds are lovely and well maintained. The over water bungalow was not...

I travel often and this resort totally exceeded my expectations in every way! What a beautiful, pristine, private property only 20 minutes via boat from Belize City. I loved the details--from the decoratively cut lime on all cocktails to the daily raking of my cabana footpath. I loved getting the pre trip emails, especially the ones skiing for my favorite...

For our honeymoon, my wife and I decided to come to Belize. We decided to spend the first part of our trip inland at the Mariposa Jungle Lodge near San Antonio (which I give 5 stars as well). That was the jungle/adventure part of our trip (Mayan ruins at Caracol and the ATM Cave); St. George's Caye was the "relax"...

St. George's Caye was the perfect seaside retreat for our honeymoon. My husband and I had a couple key points we wanted to hit while on our honeymoon. We wanted a little bit of beach, adventure, and relaxation. We booked with St. George's Caye because they we able to offer all of these things. We split our trip between St....

St. George's is the most convenient location to get to experience all that Belize has to offer. Although we are not divers, many guests choose St. George's because of their premier diving trips to the world's second largest barrier reef. We chose St. George's because of the close proximity to the international airport meaning minimal travel time to reach your...

We did not stay at the resort since we were traveling in a catamaran. We did visit the bar and had thirst quenching adult beverages. Great tasting rum punch and an average Mai tai. A bit expensive. Chased cocktails with a couple of Belekins. The bar itself is very nice with comfortable chairs and loungers to sit in. We toured...

Our 5-day stay at St Georges Caye was nice and relaxing. The resort is easily accessible to Belize City and the transport staff was at the ready upon our arrival at the departure dock. The caye is wonderfully small and the resort is really the only action we witnessed during our stay. Though there are still some nearby homes that...

Okay, I wanted to give them 5 stars, I really did. There was only ONE THING that disappointed me, right as i was leaving the resort :( So let me get that out of the way first, because everything that I'm gonna say after this will be positivity. Lunch is served daily at 12:30 pm, and there was a couple...

Bucket list item: stay in an over-water bungalow where you can step off the pier to swim in warm water--CHECK! This resort has it all; the setting is warm water with a variety of sea life, tiny island with white sand beaches, ocean views everywhere. The resort is lovely and the food very, very good. The staff is particularly careful...
