We rolled into town late in the evening and once we were in the old center of town, we stopped at the first hotel we found. It was good. The hotel was clean although if you look too closely, you will see the buildup and a bit of mold in the shower. The breakfast was abysmal but I am not...

we generally loved staying here. the staff were helpful and friendly, our room was big, warm, clean and had an amazing view of Mardin. only bizarre thing was the breakfast... it was minute compared to any breakfast we had across turkey, 2 small slices of cucumber, tomato and cheese with nutella. a pity considering everything else was so good.

We left the hotel without staying, the rooms are airless, air condition is not working, not clean, the lady who is cleaning the rooms enters the room without knocking the door. You have to carry your own luggage to your room. No parkplace. It may be the worst hotel I have ever seen..

Mr. Ahmet Güler, GM of Maridin Hotel is an amazing host. He knows how to make you feel at home and ensure your stay is an amazing success. He is always available for guests. He knows everyone in town and will go out of his way to introduce you to shop owners and merchants BUT the good thing is, he...
