We've just returned from a two night break at the fabulous newly renovated Le Clos de Tromenec. We were met by Jean Marc, who is a great host and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Our bedroom definitely had the wow factor, with beautiful oak flooring and a comfortable king size bed, there was also a mezzanine with two single beds. The bathroom with walk in shower was fantastic. My husband loved the velux Windows which operated via remote control. There where two patio doors leading out to beautiful gardens from bedroom and another door the other side leading to carpark. The whole place was very secure, quiet and secluded, with electric gates at the entrance. There is an indoor swimming pool which was lovely and warm. In the morning we went to the main house where sat around a huge table with the other guests for our breakfast which was sumptuous. home baked croissants, bread, brioche, jams, honey, various cheeses, yoghurt, meats and some cake. As much tea or coffee as you wanted. The conversation around the breakfast table was lively and we very much enjoyed the warm atmosphere. Although our French isn't perfect we did manage to follow the conversation and it helped us brushing up our skills. It was like being at a friends dinner party, brilliant! The area of Landeda is very pretty and the costal village of Aber Wrac'h is lovely with stunning views across the bay. We had dinner at the Captain Crêpes and we loved it so much we went back the next night. The caramel crêpes were delicious. The coast line is breath taking with the most beautiful unspoilt beaches dotted around. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

It was hard to find the hotel even with our GPS, however our efforts were rewarded. This high end B&B (chambres d'hotes) is stylish and set in a magnificent garden. My room was grand with a spacious bathroom; it even had a mezzanine, i.e. a small second floor. The modern facilities include electrically controlled shutters, fun! We enjoyed the generous breakfast served on large communal tables. The croissants were to die for! We had no time to take advantage of the indoor pool. The staff was always available and helpful. It is worth hunting for this place because it is a gem

We just stayed one night, unfortunately! Wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel is wonderful! Very pretty and perfect - newly built. Everything feels new and fresh.
We got upgraded to a suite with two bedrooms for free which was very nice. The room was so nice and comfortable. Beautifully decorated with great taste. The main bedroom had a huge big bed that is so comfortable and the other room has two nice beds. The bathroom is enormous with a bathtub and a shower. The shower is both build in handle and a portable handle – suited for both Europeans and Americans.
In the hotel there is a living room where you can sit and there is a big dining room where you have breakfast at a big table together with the other guests.
The pool is also very nice. Not very big but good size for relaxing and for playing in it.
The owner Jean-Marc is very nice and caring. I mentioned that our 10 year daughter is glutenallergic so he bought special food for her. He also baked special cookies for her and they were very good! That was so nice of him. He is the perfect host!
The breakfast is really excellent! Jean-Marc bakes everything himself– the bread, croissants, local bakeries is home baked and everything is good. There is also different kind of chese, hams and marmelade. You don’t want to stop eating.
I had the local pastry Kough Amman for the first time and it is so good. I later tried others but this one was the best - excellent. Never had as good one later.
The cute dog – Icko is nice to have around too. And a big thank to Jean- Marcs daughter that did not mind that other children played with her dog.

Wow, what a place. This was our favourite stay on our Brittany road trip holiday by far. A shame we'd only booked 1 night. Everything about the place is done to a very high quality and specification - whether it was the room itself (a secure family room which opened onto the courtyard), the gardens, parking, the pool, the friendly hosts, the amazing breakfast - well worth a visit and we highly recommend!

Host was most welcoming. Dinner was outstanding - beautifully prepared and served. Breakfast was amazing - a shame we couldn't do it justice. Lovely home baked croissant, pain au chocolat & breads. The room was beautiful, very spacious and with modern facilities.

Although we know South Brittany well its many years since we stayed in the North. What a find Le Clos was. It so happened that we were the only guests for the 2 nights we stayed which meant we had the charming company of Jean-Marc to ourselves. It also meant we had exclusive use of the 5* indoor pool. We had opted for an evening meal prepared by Jean-Marc - absolutely delicious. Breakfast was superb - with much of the pastries and breads made by Jean-Marc himself. The owners have invested in the highest quality furniture and fittings for the luxurious apartments. Fabulous bathroom, oak doors, floors and stairs. Truly incredible value for money. We were lucky to have excellent weather in late May and it was a treat to drive around the empty lanes visiting coves and deserted beaches. This place is a gem in every way.

This little 5 bedroom inn and its charming host, Jean-Marc, were magnificent!
The inn and its gardens and landscape arey luxurious. Every door, every fixture, every detail is thoughtfully and exquisitely done.
The Inn's manager, Jean-Marc, is a warm and inviting host. His breakfasts, which feature his wonderful home-made pastries, freshly squeezed orange juice, and delicious coffee, are a great start to the morning. You can spend the remainder of the day visiting the spectacular coastline or the charming nearby towns, before retreating back to the spacious, comfortable inn.
Can't say enough good things about this wonderful place!
