Amàre Beach Hotel Ibiza strikes a chord with guests for its vibrant ambiance, enhanced by live music and DJs, though a few note the volume can be overpowering at times. While opinions on value vary, with some guests finding the quality justifies the price and others taking issue with the cost, the hotel's location earns high marks for its convenience to local dining and music, as well as easy sea taxi access. Service is generally applauded for its friendliness, though occasional lapses in speed are reported, particularly by the pool. The hotel's spotless cleanliness and well-regarded amenities, including the pools and breakfast buffet, consistently impress visitors. Room reviews are mixed, with guests appreciating the modern touches and views, but some find the size and storage lacking.

Absolutely stunning hotel and amazing staff. Gorgeous modern entrance and greeted by lovely and friendly reception staff. Aora on reception was excellent, she went out of her way to help and provided great customer service. We had a lovely pool and sea view room which was cleaned daily and left spotless. The hotel grounds are beautiful, pool areas kept clean and tidy.
They had DJs on daily around the pool area and also in the roof top restaurant during the evening. Food was excellent, a little expensive but still very nice. Breakfast was gorgeous, so much choice and staff available to cook omelettes and eggs. The gym was probably one of the best I have been too in a hotel abroad. Gorgeous views across the waterfront. We had an amazing stay and will definitely visit again. Excellent hotel would highly recommend a visit.

Beautiful hotel with fabulous, attentive staff. The room we stayed in was sea facing with a balcony that overlooked the main pool area. (Upgraded at check in at an extra cost) The hotel itself was spotless at all times both inside & out. Pool towels are provided each day from a kiosk by the pool & the staff come to your chosen sunbed, make sure it is clean & dry & place your towel for you. Breakfast was included with our stay & there was an amazing choice of foods every day. Meats, cheese, bread, fruit, cereals, yoghurt, hot food and cakes & pastries too. There is also a chef preparing eggs to your liking.
The hotel is in a quiet location on a small beach and has a pier right outside where a ferry goes to the town every half an hour for 4 euros each. Locally there are bars, restaurants & shops within a 5 minute walk.
The 3 pool areas have a waiter service but the drinks are quite expensive & you cannot eat or drink anything you don't buy from the hotel. There is music & a live DJ every day around all pool areas which did get annoying at times as it sometimes was quite loud even in the afternoon. So maybe a quiet area would be nice as an escape from the music. However once inside the hotel with the balcony doors closed you would not be disturbed by any sounds. The rooftop bar & pool have a great view of the famous sunset. Overall this hotel was great & I would definitely return.

The moment we entered this hotel we knew it was something special. The aroma which permiates all the public areas is subtle but beautiful. The design of this hotel is modern with clean lines and form featuring modern art and sculpture. What a treat it was to stay here. Our room was quite small but had evrything we required with a balcony and wonderful sea view. Everything is pristine and covid safe.
Days spent by the pool was another special experience. Mornings we were treated to jazz and an easy listening vibe. In the afternoon the music changes and becomes so exciting. The volume increases and we are treated to trance/dance plus on occasions a live Sax player who was just so good. If you love music of many genre you will love this hotel. The service was on occasions rather slow but the staff work really hard and do their best for their guests. We had dinner in the Roof Top Restaurant on two occasions but were not too impressed finding it over priced and very noisy with the bar area crashing bottles into bins which was not the dinner experience we were seeking. The Mare Nostrum was very different the food was so good here with many choices of starters including Sushi which we enjoyed. This was the dining experience we enjoyed the most.
We ventured out into the local area for one evening but it was rather disappointing and "down market" in comparison to where we stayed.
It was so easy to get a taxi both to San Antonio and Ibiza town.
The times by the pool was our favourite time the music was sensational and something we looked forward to each day.

Dear cnmfreeman112, We are elated to know you enjoyed the hotel music that much. Yes, every corner of Amàre sounds special. Different music is played, depending on where you are and the time of day or night. This musical distribution is able to create the perfect ambience and mood required for every time and place. Regardless of whether you’re at reception, our Rooftop Bar or at the pool, you’ll always feel the right auditory vibe... Thank you for mentioning aswell some of the points we need to improve. It was a pleasure to have you in Amare Ibiza... we hope to see you again! Best regards Jose Torres Deputy Manager

We booked for five nights in “The One Oh La La” half board and checked out after one night because it was so poor.

Pro ‘s - Nice pool areas and comfy sun, beds (if you can get one), modern clean hotel, fun to watch the boats, nice view in restaurant, great hanging chair in bedroom, powerful shower

Con’s - poor quality food for both breakfast and dinner, small rooms with little storage, limited sun beds unless you get up really early, terrible beach (looks man-made, mostly rocky and surrounded by graffiti), website doesn’t show true outlook from beach and pool which is derelict buildings and graffiti, disgusting cocktails in the roof top bar that tasted awful, location is in the middle of nowhere around the other side of the bay to cafe mambo etc (taxi ride away) there is nowhere to walk out to in the evening without getting a taxi, room was on the 5th floor so really noisy from the music in the roof top bar, no changing facilities when our room wasn’t ready so told to change on the toilet floor, staff didn’t bother to tell us when our room was ready despite leaving our mobile number and asking them to call.

We have stayed at the Amare in Marbella and had high hopes for this hotel, it was a total let down and the first time we have actually been so disappointed with a hotel we have checked out early. I would save your money and book anywhere but here !

Wonderful hotel... The bus stop while coming from the airport stops about 800 mts away while going to the airport stops just 300 mts away. Every hour is the bus to the airport. The rooms are just perfect. We took the one facing the beach and the sea. So we had a beautiful view. The pool is small but good. The small jacuzzi pools are a surprise. Breakfast is awesome. A huge spread. There s a small ferry station which takes you to Sant Antonio de Portmany for 5 euros each way till 10 pm in the night. Very convenient. The bus depot to various places is just opposite the Sant Antonio port. There are hourly buses to cala bassa cala comte cala taridaetc. It's a nice relaxation in the resort itself. The rooftop bar is great with wonderful views and good selection of wines. They give you a free towel card. All in all highly recommended. A new resort and much cheaper than the rest with the same comforts.

Lovely time at Amare. As soon as you walk in the workers are welcoming, the smell is amazing and the room is perfect with music as you enter.
I got a free upgrade on check in which was nice.
Great breakfast.

I only stayed for one night but honestly wish I stayed longer. I initially thought it would be too ‘partyish’ and loud and although there were 1 British group by the pool who were loud, this wasn’t the hotel’s fault and it didn’t ruin my stay.

A good vibe there, however it may be very busy and full of British people in summer which may not be attractive for me especially as the location is in San Antonio.

Only thing to consider would be the cost of the parking which can add up if you are staying for a while!

We were given the surprise room which did not disappoint, balcony view to the sea and the beach was incredible. We got to see the sunrise every day. Easy access to the pools (even a rooftop pool too) and plenty of sunbed to choose from. Location was convenient and away from the main strip. Also not far to get to Old Town a 30minute taxi ride. The staff was super friendly and helpful. One in particular Candela, she was so helpful in organising and recommending ideas for our day trip to Formentera, which I would highly recommend going to visit with in Ibiza. If you stay at the hotel seek her out and she can help you.

There is alos rooftop restaurant with amazing view you have to try and book for the sunset dinner view it was such a beautiful sight.

Some contructive feedback which is the reason why I gave 4 stars, there was one day the room was not cleaned and we had to chase several times for the room to be service and for fresh towels. Also fresh soap was not replaced so by the end of stay we had run out. It is unusual why the shower gel is attached outside by sink and not in the shower itself so you have pump a load shower gel from the sink and walk into the shower to use, would it not make sense to have the shower gel, with the shampoo and conditioner in the shower.

Also the compliementary water was not provided every day. In other hotels I have stayed at this would be replenished daily. There is AC in the room however it is super noisy if there is a way to reduce the noise it would great.

Taxis the hotel can request however the system is not robust as people can jump into the taxi that you have booked. You should make it clear to guest to ask taxi for what room number it is booked up so people can't skip and take the taxi you booked.

Overall the stay was very pleasant with these minor tweeks I would recommend and would come back to stay.

The perfect resort if you want to be ignored, overlook bins and fancy someone else’s hair in your bed.

1. Expect to move your own cases
2.expect to find human hair (you can guess the origins) on your bedding and on your floors
3. Check the view before you arrive; we’ve been in 3 rooms in 2 days 2 overlooking bins and one onto a derelict construction site.
4. If you drink champagne hopefully you like it warm and flat and are happy to pay €36 for 2 glasses of it
5. If your idea of relaxing vibes is 30 mins to an hour to get service either to your lounger or in the restaurant, then this is your place
6. If you like to complain you will be perplexed as here they genuinely couldn’t care less.
7. Finally check your bill- I was knowingly overcharged and only refunded when I pointed it out. Charged for a room upgrade I didn’t actually receive.

Shocking, expensive, insulting. Sadly you can’t undo these memories.

Luckily if you are already booked you can jump on the water taxi for €4 to San Antonio proper and be treated as though you matter.

Btw- no amenities nearby so it can feel you are captive.

Myself and friend stayed for a girlie weekend getaway the first weekend of July. First impressions of the hotel was how amazing it smelt throughout the whole place! Beautiful and clean. Reception staff were so welcoming and held our luggage until our room was ready, we arrived about 3 hrs before we could get our room, but they called me in 20mins to say it was ready. They have rooms with showers that you can change in after your flight if you need to, so you can enjoy the pools. You get a card, and you exchange the card for a towel and the staff bring you to your chosen sun lounger. We kept the same towel for two days which wasn’t any problem, only as seemed silly to wash it when it wasn’t dirty! Next to the sun loungers are call buttons, we were told just ring it once or it will reset you to the back of the queue. The staff on the two ground floor pools were much quicker than the top pool, but only as more staff down there. Plus the pool at the top has a bar with no problems getting served at. The staff were AMAZING! I couldn’t imagine working in the heat and being so friendly at the same time. Every staff member was so helpful and polite! We stayed in room 113, which was perfect. It overlooked the pool and beach area, lovely balcony area with a table, chairs and one sun lounger. The toilet and shower was separated by a frosted glass door, and the mirror area was big. Beds and pillows were so comfy. The room was very quiet, we didn’t hear anyone else in the other rooms, only upstairs occasionally moving their balcony chairs. We ordered a breakfast buffet to the room one morning which cost €5, which we thought was free as we had bed and breakfast, but we didn’t mind. The breakfast buffet in the restaurant area was brilliant. It had lots of yoghurts, pastries, and fruits. I think you could order cooked food but I stuck to the healthy things. The restaurant staff were very attentive and friendly. We did book a sunset cruise through the hotel which was €80 pp. We easily got the taxi ferry for the jetty outside the hotel for €4 pp (cash only), which stopped right in San Antonio dock next to the boat for the cruise. Check out was simple and easy, but of a queue but no issues. The hotel can book taxis for when you need them, you cannot prebook there. But they can prebook your departure taxi in advance!

Best thing: the sunset in the roof top bar was lovely, we had dinner there that night then headed out to Pikes for the eve! Easy to get a reservation too, but it is used by other people not staying at the hotel.
Bad thing: not much, if I had to fault anything it would be that there was no price list on the minibar drinks, so we didn’t even go near that.

This hotel is a different class!!! Everything about it is WOW! In a quite enough location but right of the pier to get the boat to san Antonia if desired! Breakfast choice was far superior to any other European hotel I have visited. Drinks and food bought in the hotel are slightly pricey but I guess that is to be expected. There was a live singer everyday at the pool area creating good vibes, or you take yourself to the roof top pool and bar and just relax.
Would defo come back here without a doubt!
