TUI BLUE Aura garners applause for its family-centric amenities like pools, kids' clubs, and a water park, making it a hit with families, although the baby facilities could be improved. While rooms are praised for cleanliness and space, some guests suggest they could benefit from modern updates. The staff's dedication to service is frequently commended, although reception may sometimes fall short. Nestled near the beach, the hotel's location is a highlight, as is the perceived value, particularly with the all-inclusive options, despite some concerns over extra costs. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with themed dinners and entertainment, although some guests feel certain areas lack a certain charm. Cleanliness is another strong point, with the hotel maintaining high standards across the board.

I think the previous review that mentions small pools and bad service must have been at a different hotel or had slightly unrealistic expectations. This is a great hotel with the most friendly, hardworking staff at any hotel I have visited.
The hotel was very clean and the bedrooms were great with the most comfortable beds in any European break.
The TUI team Becky, Sophie etc were great and as a family we loved the morning Yoga sessions and the aqua aerobics.
Yes the evening entertainment was a bit bizarre but that is no fault of the team and TUI just need to invest more in that and cater for adults and children equally. We are not the sort of family just to sit in the hotel for 2 weeks so we took advantage of using the hotel as a base and had some lovely evenings out in the restaurant down the road and within San Antonio.
There is a bus that travels from the hotel next door or taxis are available or indeed within 5 mins there are bars and restaurants.
The water park was much enjoyed by the family a real plus of this hotel.
The food was fine lots of selection and truly great staff both on entrance greeting you and around the restaurant itself. I am not sure what service people expect in the Tapas and Japanese but it’s isn’t self service so I expected to wait as I would in a normal restaurant. We visited each twice and had great service both times.
Oliver was fab in the bar and made great cocktails as did the lady in the pool shack bar.
The all inclusive ice creams were much better quality than expected.
Our rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh towels and after leaving a deposit we were also able to take pool towels which again could be replaced each day.
The hotel went from very full to about half full and I think perhaps a few more pool tables would have been useful as even at half full it was tricky to get a turn on the evening.
Overall a great holiday all very impressed especially as this is the first time we have used a package holiday in a while.
Please pass on our thanks to everyone at the hotel.

Myself partner and little one (age 11) stayed for 11 days July into August, first impressions were that we didn't know or was our hotel as the signage is really unclear and called two names ? Only 2 reception staff to book on a coach load, this took quite a while. We paid quite a bit extra for a sea view which to be fair we had however found that our room was directly behind the main stage so bearing in mind this is a family hotel with little ones, music blaring till 11.30 ish every night ghe other side of our room wall was pretty poor. Considering this was a costly upgrade, we'd been shown the sea view room when we booked and these were in a new part of the complex, at check in we were initially allocated one of these but for some reason a minute later it was changed to the room behind the stage?
The room itself was actually fine spacious and plenty of hanging room for clothes etc with a really nice bathroom. Our only gripe was that although the room was cleaned daily the sheets were not changed for 10 days !! We asked numerous times and eventually they were changed on our last night and then only 2 out of 3 beds ?? The hotel itself was really clean at all times. Considering masks are still mandatory in the hotel some people can't be told and the staff didn't seem to want to address this.
Staff were friendly but it was clear that the powers that be were trying to make back money from a lost season due to covid, there simply weren't enough of them, it was constant queues for drinks then for food then for refilling of the food and waiting for tables to be cleaned and reset, the staff worked extremely hard but faced an impossible take given there numbers.
Food was ok, typical all inclusive really I've had better but equally I've had worse, as always the staff seemed to struggle to keep food hot without drying it out, my partner who I'd veggie didn't have a great choice. Out of the two specialty restaurants the Tappanyaki was great the Tapas was a shambles re service.
The water park was good and the main attraction for kids, as there was lots for really little ones in the hotel not so much for the pre teens.
Location was good, you can walk to the local town although lots still closed due to covid and its about 11/12 euros for a taxi to San Antonio.
Would I stay here again, probably not thats not to say it was particularly bad it's just that for the cost i think i you could do all round better.

We returned home yesterday after an 11 night stay. We had a great holiday with our 2 children (5 and 8). We arrived at about 2pm and all rooms were ready so checked straight in. The room was lovely and spacious with a big shower room (2 sinks, toilet and walk in shower) and a good sized balcony. The pools were all fab and getting sun beds wasn’t a problem. The hotel got a lot busier after about day 5 but I think there was an aircon problem at the holiday village next door so some guests got moved to Aura. The water park is fabulous but gets busy so we tended to go when it opened, around 10:30am rather than go in the afternoon. The Tapanyaki and Taverna restaurants were lovely but the staff were not very strong in the Taverna so both times we ate there different things were missing from our order etc but it didn’t spoil it, it just felt like it was missing a manager in there.

Pool Towels were provided for a €10 deposit each and could be changed whenever. Rooms cleaned and beds/towels changed daily.

The Tui reps and entertainment team worked non stop and were all absolutely fantastic!! My daughters favourite was ‘step up and move’ where on certain days you practice a little Routine 2pm-2:30pm then perform on stage that night at 8:30pm. I would say the hotel is perfect for 3-8 year olds. The evening entertainment was a little repetitive but it’s hard to criticise when you see how hard the team work and always with a genuine smile on their faces.

The main restaurant food was good. It did get a little busy when the extra guests arrived and I’ve seen the review about it being a shambles and having to clear your own tables etc (from the 11 days we were there is was only Like that the 1 day so don’t always take trip advisor reviews as gospel!)
Would we recommend for young families? Yes!! ☀️
Also note I am not sure if always the same but we were the last drop off on the coach transfer so if we went again we’d just get a taxi as you can get to the hotel in about 20mins (€28) but it took over an hour on the coach. We got a taxi back to the airport so we could get some breakfast first. And left about 40mins after the coach had been.

Hotel is a 2*

I never leave reviews as I’m always happy for the price paid for what we get with tui but this hotel is false advertisement. It’s not a 4*

We booked this last minute for my 30th holiday and always go with tui and thought be a nice chilled hotel but didn’t expect tui blue to be ONLY people with kids! If you’re a couple it only shows kids entertainment all day until half 10 at night so you feel like your in pontins and the bar closes at 12pm, no atmosphere or adult only parts.

The smaller bar that’s meant to be for adults never had decent music on or atmosphere and it closed earlier some nights with no reason so we was left to endure nothing but kids entertainment .

The alcohol available on the all inclusive are all blag versions of the real thing and taste nothing like them and the cocktails are watered down from machines!

Also no self serve drinks not even soft drinks in the restaurant you have to wait for staff to get you a drink which takes ages and is in a tiny ass cup! Only juices and water self serve and even then signs everywhere saying you can’t fill up your own bottles.

We’ve been to tui hotels we’re you can self serve wine and beer all day! Felt like the adults were babied with how many drinks we could have or ask for and the infinity bar had NO ALE and no one serving, most pointless bar iv ever seen and was FULL OF WASPS so if allergic be aware.

Only the staff made it better by being friendly and making nicer cocktails by hand such as Jesus, Kevin, Pepe and Ana.

We got the taxi boat to San Antonio which was good and could walk to the taxi boat from the hotel but nothing right by the hotel, there is a nice little beach at the end but service at the beach bar was horrendous we paid for drinks we didn’t even drink because they gave us the wrong one then charged us.

The rooms get moped and cleaned daily but my bed had marks on it so I had to sleep on the top sheet and never had 1 night decent sleep. The walls are paper thin so can hear everything and you share a balcony with your neighbours just a railing to split it and no privacy which makes it awkward if both want to sit outside. Lizards also make an appearance in your room but they was cute.

The only good thing about this hotel is the food and the al-carte restaurants and even then it’s sometimes plain and the timing of the food available meant we went hungry sometimes as food wasn’t available at all times most 4* tui hotels it finished at 9pm and didn’t open until 8am!

The allergy lists in the restaurant were good but but in the pool bar the deserts had no signs so I asked did it have nuts they said yes and gave me other options so I picked up a chocolate bar and checked the back it had nuts in.

All staff are lovely
The grounds are thoroughly cleaned. They check everyone's temperature everyday before entering restaurant. There are hand sanitiser stations everywhere you can not fault them for that. Kids love it, its so quiet they've had the slides practically to themselves. Rooms and beds done everyday. Would definitely come back

We booked this just a fortnight before going at what we thought was an excellent price. 6 of us in total (age range 9 to 74). Upon arrival after just a half hr transfer we were greated with a cool lobby and drinks. Wristbands applied and the surprise of paying local tax at £23pp 😃
However the room was perfect, we paid for one superior room for the 4 of us and we loved it. Plenty of space, beautiful views out to see across the pool and a minutes walk to a self serve soft drink/coffee bar. The standard room my parents were in was also perfectly good.
The room although great was not cleaned that well on check in, we found 2 opened packets of crisps in a cupboard and sweet wrappers under the bed. The floors are all polished tiles too so get VERY slippy when wet coming out the shower so do be careful with toddlers
We loved the buffets, way better than expected and to a great standard. Staff attentive and friendly. The 2 bonus restaurants were great and not to be missed
The evening entertainment was great. Saga, Luke and others did a brilliant job and again so friendly and you could see really enjoyed their work. Our daughters did a kids club session and some activities which they loved.
A big shout out to Pepe who made the best cocktails, Azman for the endless G&Ts and Eva in her daytime pool hut who was always so smiley and made great drinks !
Waterpark a huge bonus and beach locally is lovely, with clear waters and sandy beach. The most perfect sunsets too. 🌇
Would not hesitate to return.

We have just returned from a last minute week away at the Blue Aura. It’s a basic four star hotel which met our needs for a family get away.

The buffet restaurant serves a variety of food so there is always something for everyone and there is a snack bar near the pool for lunch and breakfast if preferred. The two a la carte restaurants were a nice change but you need to book ASAP as limited availability, you get a visit to both included in the all inclusive package.

The pools and water park are great, no inflatables allowed which was good, but did lead to a lot of balls and water guns instead. Never an issue getting a sun bed, in fact they were piled high so not sure about reviews saying otherwise.

The evening entertainment was great but repetitive - a massive shout out to Andrew and Joy who were amazing and really should be at the West End. Such dedication and enthusiasm. Better suited to the younger children though and it ended at 10.30pm each night.

One major downside was that our rooms on the ground floor in block 4 (4011 & 4012) smelt awful like raw sewage. We managed to move from the worst one, but they said we couldn’t be moved to two rooms together which was disappointing to be separated. We were told it was because they were at capacity - bit odd when the hotel is closing on Monday due to under occupancy. I felt this could have been handled better and the reason we won’t be returning.

Finally, I would recommend a taxi or private transfer on the way to the hotel as seems this hotel is the last stop. It takes over an hour to do what should be a 20 minute journey.

We have just arrived home today after an 11 night stay here. We had an absolutely amazing holiday, I cannot understand some of the negative reviews on here it's a fabulous hotel I am not sure how people can't like it? First of all the rooms are beautiful and was spotlessly cleaned, as was the rest of the hotel and the grounds, there was always staff hard at work making sure it was kept spotless. The pools are lovely and clean and my two children had fun playing in them all day, the water park was also a massive hit with my children too! The all inclusive drinks was good and my children enjoyed going too the drinks truck for there drinks, the lady who works in the truck is lovely and always working hard. We enjoyed the ice creams and ice lollys from the the drinks truck and bar too! The entertainment could be a little better as it was quite repetitive but we still enjoyed it and my children enjoyed seeing bamse bear. The children's club was fab, both my children enjoyed there sessions and the evening parties they hosted a few times a week. Now the food at breakfast was amazing and a really great selection, we never really ate in the restaurant for lunch as we mainly used the snack bar but we all enjoyed the food we ate from there. The restaurant food in the evening was of a good standard, I am an incredibly fussy eater and I never went hungry there was so much selection! One thing that let it down slightly was the kids corner as alot of the food wasn't your typical kids food. I think its great to encourage healthy eating but unfortunately not every child will eat that type of food as a mother of a child with massive sensory issues around food my son did struggle in the evenings to find something to eat. I mentioned this to Jacobo in the restaurant he took my comments on board and then made sure there was a mixture of foods available in the kids corner which made my fussy son very happy. I would actually like to give a special mention to Jacobo in the restaurant, he is so lovely and he formed a lovely friendship with my son during our stay, my son adores him and he made such an effort with him daily and my sons face lit up. My son actually cried when we left as he said he will miss 'jacob' as he calls him. He deserves a pay rise in my eyes, he works incredibly hard and made me and my family feel so welcome. My sons face lit up every time he seen Jacobo he made such an effort with my son it was lovely too see. The location of the hotel was also great with it being so close to a beautiful beach, the views around the hotel was stunning looking out to the ocean. We really have had the most amazing stay and couldn't recommend it enough. We are already looking to book again as TUI blue Aura has really stole our heart. We would like to thank everyone at the Aura for making our holiday so incredible. We will definitely be back soon!
Love from

My experience of the hotel was the staff were friendly and hard working this hotel is good for kids with the water park at hand and with the hotel being fairly quite when we arrived on the first day of opening it felt clean and welcoming.
My kids enjoyed the holiday we were a family if 5 3 children age 4, 10 and 13 .
The food in my opinion was average and I have to admit it felt a bit sick of it fairly quickly it was all very processed and greasy there were healthy options to but mainly it was what you expect at an all inclusive resort nothing spectacular.
There are 2 restaurants you have to book as part of your all inclusive which we managed only one of which were again in my opinion just ok .
I felt the hotel was fairly tucked away from everywhere it was very difficult getting a taxi for 5 and we would have to wait for 2 taxis that would take over an hour or not arrive or book a mini bus that was in quite high demand so was not easy getting away from the hotel to eat or visit places san Antonio being 15 min away but a taxi ride was still quite sleepy in the day and at night on the occasion I managed to get there I found it full of brits behaving badly as expected.
The beach nearby was nice and easy to access

The entertainment at the hotel was fine for kids i felt the staff really tried there best but for me I wouldn't go back I hate being confined in one place, if your looking for variety and get bored easily this probably isnt the place for you however if you just want to sun bath and like the ease of being contained and a stroll from the beach then it's a winner.

I was a bit surprised to read in the newspaper that 11 people were self isolating with covid in the hotel and there wasnt a seperate hotel for quarantine on the Island that alarmed me although the staff at the hotel gave very different responses to this one said that wasnt the case and another said yes it not to worry they were far away.
We had originally booked a different hotel and had been moved here 2 days before departure another family had decided to move some
where else as they had also been moved and not felt it was them , I would have done the same if not for the kids .
Not much is in walking distance other that one supermarket and one shop selling the usual beach bits and Bob's.

This was our first family holiday since having a baby who was 6 months old on this trip.

The transfer from the airport took around 45mins and we were checked in quickly and able to get into our rooms straight away despite arriving before midday.

We had a one bedroom apartment on the ground floor which was the perfect size for us. Our baby slept in the provided cot in the lounge area which allowed us to stay up later in the bedroom with the balcony. The only issue really was that there was no bath so we used a paddling pool we had packed to bath the baby. The room was clean and comfortable though I would say the air conditioning could have been more effective.

The hotel grounds are really clean and well maintained though there are large patches of dry ground with no plants which looks a bit sad. Not a big deal though obviously. The staff are fantastic at keeping everything clean and tidy despite the number of people and especially children around.

The pools are really pleasant and the perfect t temperature - refreshing but not freezing. They could get quite busy but we did go in the summer holidays. Floats and inflatables were allowed and there is a shallow baby pool which is shaded.

The entertainment staff work really hard all day which is impressive in the heat. We took part in some of the baby swim classes with Robert which were great. Our baby also attended the Babyclub for a couple of hours each day which was payable but an absolute godsend for getting him out of the sun for a bit and giving us a little break. He loved it and the staff were amazing with him.

The food was excellent overall - well-cooked and lots of variety. We also enjoyed eating at the Teppenyaki and Taverna for a change but get these booked as soon as you arrive. We tended to eat all our meals at the buffet as there was more choice plus plates for the children. However, there was a snack bar for lunch which was a smaller buffet of burgers, chips etc.

Overall, we had a great holiday and felt that Aura offered everything we needed.
