We spent 2 nights and Sabie Townhouse and wish we could have stayed for longer! The service was personal and attentive, with a warm welcome. The breakfast spread was delicious. It was just a shame we could only enjoy it once as our first morning we left the guest house early to go on a Kruger excursion, but Candi offered...

We had a lovely stay at Sabie Townhouse. Our hosts were wonderful! Very friendly and so helpful. Room had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and my husband is still raving about the omelette he had! Would highly recommend. We were also referred here by a family member and were certainly not disappointed.

Felt like a stay at home. Nice & quiet - tranquility at its best. Separate outside room. Breakfast was great. no supper unfortunately, but close to the shops and restaurants and Wild Fig restaurant is a must!

We stayed two nights at the place as a stopover while going from Joburg to Kruger. The place has a really warm and welcoming vibe mainly thanks to the hostess Candi. The rooms and public areas are nice. I especially enjoyed the pool deck with bar and nice views of the Sabie river. The rooms are nothing special but are...

Thank you very much for you lovely comments and its always a pleasure cooking up a storm for our guests in the morning. The rooms and bathrooms are all systematically being upgraded and whilst a couple of the rooms haven't yet received their make-over treatment, we are steadily doing improvements and renovations to ensure that they are all quite special...

We loved our stay here. The Sabie Townhouse is centrally located in Sabie (2 minutes drive from town centre) and is perfectly located for driving the panorama route. The garden, swimming pool and pool-house/bar look ''exotic'' and are very inviting. The guest lodge offers a feel-at-home atmosphere. We stayed in the Hippo room. Perfect for 2 adults and one child....

We arrived at Sabie for one night after a long drive from Swazi. The flat we had was clean and comfortable and within minutes from downtown where we had a good dinner. The breakfast was way beyond the standard in similar lodges.

The zebra suite is ideal for a family or for a couple. Very relaxing and calm, the Jacuzzi is a must after a long day of hiking ! We received a hearty welcome and would recommend warmly to chose this place.

Our stay was in the beautiful Rhino room. This is one of several rooms of various sizes and shapes on offer at the Sabie Townhouse. The decor is first class, the room bright and spacious. The bed although a standard double was more than comfortable and provided us with a very pleasing and quiet nights sleep. If pushed I would...

We loved our stay at Sabie TH. Greg and his family provide a lovely warm welcome. The Lion suite was perfect for our needs. The house is spotlessly clean. The breakfast is superb. The deck, pool and bar area have wonderful views and provide a great space to read, chat and relax. Greg took the trouble to tune us in...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Greg and Family offer guests a warm personal welcome to our lovely, distinctive home, constructed of river stone and local timber, peacefully situated overlooking the stunning natural beauty of the Sabie Gorge. Without exception, the many guests who have stayed with us comment on the uniqueness of our home and that photographs just do not do it justice. From the verandah you can catch a glimpse of the hyrax enjoying the early morning sunshine, watch our resident sunbirds sipping nectar from strelitzia and hibiscus flowers, hear the occasional fish eagle calling and we have even been lucky enough to have a hippo wander by! Or you may like to take a short stroll across open bushveld to sit on the rocks and admire the gorge and river below. The emphasis of our spacious rooms is to offer guests comfort and a place to relax and feel at home. All have a separate private entrance and the majority overlook the lush gardens. Children are welcome, so we have family suites available and we are the only wheel chair friendly guesthouse in Sabie. Sumptuous breakfasts are served either in the dining room or on the verandah overlooking the swimming pool. We offer warm and friendly hospitality. ... more   less
