Spent one night here on the way to the Kruger park. Good welcome, comfortable room, well appointed. Quiet with a good breakfast with plenty of choice, Would use again. Slight criticism - a little more interaction with the management would have been good.

Wow what a lovely time we had at the Sabie Townhouse Guest Lodge... The breakfast, the rooms, the environment everything was perfect. Everything was so neat and clean... The staff are very friendly and helpful and I think the hands on friendly approach of the owner, Greg contributes to their success. With Greg as the main Chef, of course breakfast...

Outstanding venue! "Home from home" vibe. Spotless! Great sun deck and pool overlooking the mountains with a wonderful pub vibe. Great for chilling or connecting with your friends. Friendly, open and honest staff and management team. Great rooms - properly prepped with everything that you need - hairdryers, plugs etc. Delicious buffet and hot breakfast with a variety of choices....

Last night of a 2 week trip to South Africa. Had left the last night free on purpose but then our preferred place to stay was full so had to quickly find an alternative. Lady at tourist info service in Sabie recommended this place and we were allowed to have an inspection before paying anything up front. Once we got...

Very good option to stay in Sabie. They have a nice terrace with swimming pool and private parking. Owners are very helpful with advice on trips and restaurants. The room we had was spacious and clean but a bit outdated and without view.

The service from Candy and Margaret was the best. Candy was always there when we needed her and eager to help. She recommended the best places for dinner and we were not disappointed. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean. The garden is well maintained and really beautiful. Breakfast was good and l really enjoyed it. I think they can...

We had a one night stay here in November 2016, were upgraded to the honeymoon suit which was really lovely. We really enjoyed the hospitality and quietness of the guest house and the breakfast was excellent!

The guest house was nice and peaceful and had plenty of safe secure parking. When we visited building work was going on at the front entrance so so we were shown to our room along the back entrance which we used all the time we were there. I never actually saw the front entrance. The breakfast was good and it...

Thank you very much for your kind words. The main entrance and lounge area was in need of an update and has been retiled to bring a softer and brighter feel to the guesthouse. We do apologise for any inconvenience during the renovation and thank you for your patience.

We stayed here for one night and had a very enjoyable if not short stay. Suitable private/secure parking is available and the lodge has a traditional rustic feel to it with a nice honesty bar outside with a pool overlooking a great view. Our hosts were both friendly and very helpful and served a lovely fresh breakfast. We also enjoyed...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Greg and Family offer guests a warm personal welcome to our lovely, distinctive home, constructed of river stone and local timber, peacefully situated overlooking the stunning natural beauty of the Sabie Gorge. Without exception, the many guests who have stayed with us comment on the uniqueness of our home and that photographs just do not do it justice. From the verandah you can catch a glimpse of the hyrax enjoying the early morning sunshine, watch our resident sunbirds sipping nectar from strelitzia and hibiscus flowers, hear the occasional fish eagle calling and we have even been lucky enough to have a hippo wander by! Or you may like to take a short stroll across open bushveld to sit on the rocks and admire the gorge and river below. The emphasis of our spacious rooms is to offer guests comfort and a place to relax and feel at home. All have a separate private entrance and the majority overlook the lush gardens. Children are welcome, so we have family suites available and we are the only wheel chair friendly guesthouse in Sabie. Sumptuous breakfasts are served either in the dining room or on the verandah overlooking the swimming pool. We offer warm and friendly hospitality. ... more   less
