The cabin was close to the road, so heard cars and bike passing, but we got used to it. Waking up in the morning to the wind blowing in the trees and the birds chirping was so relaxing. Because there is no TV we had such fun with our kids. Laughed, played games and chatted until bed time. Cellphone reception...

We stayed there in December 2016 with my elderly parents in law. The lodge served as our base for daily exploration in the area. on our arrival the downstairs shower did not work, but the owners fixed it really really quickly. Our children did not even switch on the tv once during our stay. Lovely pool.

Our intention was to stay in Kruger but we had lost too much time on the way, so could not get there before dark. We then decided to enquire at Misty Mountain which looked very nice but it is not cheap and as we could not take advantage of the surroundings because of the mist and the rain, we decided...

Dear Trip Adviser Agent Thank you for the oppertunity to respond to this review. I don't want to go into a big explanation on this review but if you look at all the other reviews Bananien Lodge received I think it is not a fair review for my bussiness and it can cause doubt in potential client minds. I think...

We had a very nice stay in one of the quaint log cabins at Bananien. Its a good place for couples or families. The location is perfect, just outside sabie and close to many of the attractions in the panorama. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, it seems nothing was too much trouble. It would have been nice if...

We stayed for 1 night. Rooms are very very nice but basic. People are friendly but a little bit like "Bates Motel" ;-) If you expect to get a fancy hotel, forget this here. The rooms are equipped with a clean bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. For chilly nights you have only a small heater inside. A pool is...
