Wonderful old Spanish style structure, amazing lobby, nice spa and external pool. Personnel very kind and helpfull but the good news are ended. The decor of the room seems rejection of Amnesty International. Add the pettiness to pay two Euros per day for use of the fridge and something for the use of the safe. We are in a 4...

This hotel could be so good if it was managed properly but it is poorly run. Little or no maintenance seems to be done unless requesed by guests. The staff are very nice and helpful but they lack leadership and direction, so also lack motivation. The food in the restaurant does not come up to anything like the standard normally...

We stayed for 4 nights on half board in March this year. The choice of food for half board was very limited. I asked could we choose from the a la carte menu and pay the difference - this was refused. The rooms were tired and needing decorating. The toiletries were poor. A shame that an unhelpful manager and uninviting...

Location:The hotel building is part old and part built in 2000, very much in the charming traditional Spanish style, inside and out. It's in a quite location 400m from the main road South of Vilaflor and within 5 minutes walking distance of La Escalona where there are alternative eating places. It's a steep walk back though! Rooms: We had room...

Stayed here for 5 nights in early February. Room was clean, however toiletries weren't replaced daily. The hotel had a nice old spanish feel. wifi was available in reception but the signal wasn't that strong. Spa area was nice and quiet.

For my nature I don't like to complain but this hotel needs some attentions. The building is nice and very charming. The reception area is really good, restaurant looks good as well. Our room was in the old building and it was very basic. Toilet too small and I had shower in the spa. Anyway as I ve been working...

From the outside, a colourful hotel perched on the hillside overlooking the coast many km below. The hotel is not in Vilaflor but halfway between Arona and Vilaflor, though still a handy location for driving up to the volcano. On the inside, the reception area is nicely done. This is no purpose built concrete block of a hotel, with long...

I visit Tenerife regularly for astronomy reasons. The clear, stable atmosphere & cloudless skies at altitude make it ideal for astronomers to view the night skies. This was the reason I chose the El Nogal. I needed to base myself close to Teide National Park, where I was going every night for my astronomy. It was a toss up between...
