My wife & myself visited Agemenon in October & we were jointly incredibly impressed. The staff were very friendly & seemed to work tirelessly hard to make our stay a happy one. The facilities are excellent & spotlessly clean, the food was also very varied & to a good standard. The environment is quiet & relaxed, the views are amazing....

Husband asked for top floor room with sunrise view, and this we got. Thanks Richard. Travelled with Thomson,on half board.breakfast and dinner was very good. We paid for a lunch on our arrival day, this was excellent. We left our card details with reception at start of holiday, and our total bill which included many large beers, brandy, wine, water, and 4 bottles of...

Room had great view, overlooked harbour entrance to Mahon. Breakfast choice suitable for all tastes. Poolside meals/snacks available during the day and evening. Good alternative to restaurant. Friendly staff. Hotel is suitable for couples, not families. Excellent location if you want a quiet holiday. You are also able to explore the island by car. Car parking is limited at the...

This hotel is in a quiet area of Es Castell about a 10 to 15 minute walk from Calas Font which has many restaurants. The reception staff are friendly and smiley. The girl on reception has an excellent command of English and is a credit to the company. There is a swimming pool which looks inviting but I have not...

We really enjoyed our week in the Agamenon. Cili at reception gave us a very warm welcome and was very helpful with local information. Our room was on the first floor with views over the pool, gardens and out to the harbour. The higher up you go the better the views but we were happy. The room was tastefully decorated...

The room was clean with twin beds pushed together which were reasonably comfortable, a twin sliding wardrobe and safe. The reception and bar area was spacious and always clean, the pool area was always quiet...

Stayed at the Hotel Agamenon in July 2016. The view from the bar area was stunning and I never got tried of it. We had a room on the car park side which was good as it got the sun in the morning and again stunning views, we were on the 3rd floor. The pool area always had sun beds...

Being seasoned travellers we always read reviews on trip advisor to weigh up the pro's and con's of hotels/destinations being considered for our holidays, and have learned to read between the lines, and also recognise professional complainers and nitpickers! we have learned to take with a pinch of salt some of the more negative reviews. On this occasion we will...

Our room was on the fourth floor, overlooking the harbour. The balcony faced west so caught the afternoon sun. The room was a bit spartan but had all we needed. Our tour operator (Thompson) advertised that the rooms had tea and coffee making facilities, what they didn't say was that this was an extra, 17 euros for the week. The...
