Stayed for two nights towards end of my motorcycle tour of Scotland. Bedroom confortable, tidy and clean. Restaraunt service was fine. Menu was for several items of which I had no complaint. Breakfast was filling and I could have any combination of what was available. Porridge was made specially with water for me. Waiters and waitress were very attending and...

I booked a lodge for my partners birthday without reading the reviews. When I came across them I immediately e-mailed the hotel and informed them that a member of our party had severe allergies and if cleanliness was an issue I was going to have to cancel. Straight away I received a phone call from the manager. She told me...

After reading the many hideous reviews that this establishment has received, we went with an open mind and opinion, after all it didn't cost a lot, we knew that when we booked it and it was just for a weekend on the motorbikes as a base, until I had a crash prior to going and not able to ride temporarily....

By far the worst place I have ever stayed in. Lured by the smooth talking owner at a food festival, we purchased tickets in advance for three nights in a lodge with hot tub. Upon arrival the room was not ready despite it being 5.30pm. when we eventually entered the lodge we were disappointed to find it filthy. Flies were...

My partner and I stayed here through a discounted voucher through west midland game fair 2012. We arrived Friday 9th August on a 4 day and 3 night stay (bed and breakfast). We were upgraded upon arrival from a standard double room to a 2 bed self catering apartment (booking error - no extra charge). We were met with a...

We purchased a 3 night stay voucher last year at the creasing temple barns food festival. We stayed in the main hotel building and paid extra for a loch view. The room was very tired looking but the bed linen clean and the view fantastic, so things didn't seem to be as bad as the reviews I had read but...

We bought a voucher over the phone as we had been to the hotel 7 years a go and it was lovely and we had a great time .We paid the same price for the voucher £99 each ,we then had to pay a extra £75 for the loch view lodge ,so it was £91 per night which I think...

We bought a 3 night voucher at the Cruise Show Olympia London. We were attracted by the hotel's superb setting on Loch Awe. Quite frankly that is all the hotel has going for it. Our welcome at reception was non- existent in fact it was chaotic. We wondered if there was a reservation for us. Eventually we were handed keys...

We had acquired a three-night voucher costing £190 (plus extra for the loch view) for this hotel at the Hampton Court flower show in July 2012. It was marketed as being a comfortable 'country club' hotel with excellent cuisine and spectacular views. We assumed, because we had paid in advance, that we were getting a good deal. This could not...
