We stayed three nights in September after reading all the excellent reviews here and they are all proven true. Dot & Don are fabulous and very helpful. They made our stay very special. In addition we explored Lagavulin and Ardbeg by foot - very advisable after to tasting tours... We definitely recommend this B&B and would love to come back...

After our first visit there was no doubt about where to stay on the Isle of Islay: the B&B of Dot & Don of course! Nice clean rooms and a good cooked breakfast plus the wonderful hospitality of Dot & Don make it a place to come back again.

I stayed with a friend in the twin room in May for two nights. We used the B&B as a base to explore the distilleries of Islay. Don and Dot had fabulous advice for us and made us feel so very welcome. The B&B was warm and clean and it was great to sit by the fire and chat in...

Stayed between 26-28th June, and from the time we arrived to the time we left we couldn't fault Dot and Don who run the B&B, they were welcoming, informative about the island, and great hosts. We had a fab time on the island, it was sunny which helps, and the experience was even better for staying with Dot and Don.

The owners of the B & B, Dot & Don, made us very welcome. Our room was clean & comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The B & B was in a good position for visiting two of the island's distilleries, as they could be reached on foot!

My son and I were doing a few Distillery Tours on Islay and stayed at Tigh na Suil with Dot & Don. So close to Lagavulin that you could be back at your room and still be enjoying the "finish" from your tasting at the distillery. Walking distance to Ardbeg and Laphroaig in a very rural setting. Cosy guest lounge...

We stayed with Dot and Don during the Islay festival in May 2013. We had such a lovely time and we very lucky to have had a room with a beautiful view of the Lagavulin Bay, it was wonderful. Dot and Don are very friendly and helpful, and they did a fantastic cooked breakfast every morning, including some great veggie...

We stayed 2 nights at this wonderful Bed & Breakfast with Dot & Don. During the day we visited several destilleries, the evenings we shared with Dot & Don and 2 other guests from Sweden. It feld like sharing evenings with good friends, it was really good fun. We will certainly return to this B&B when visiting Islay again!

All you can say about this B&B is superb. Rooms are clean and well equipped. B&B is in an excellent location. Breakfast was very well cooked. Dot and Don are very friendly and it felt more like you were staying with friends than a B&B. Tigh Na Suil is Located only a few miles from Port Ellen.
