Had a fab Saturday night stay in the Amethyst Room the room is beautifully finished and the bathroom lovely with the underfloor heating. Audrey was very helpful recommending places to eat for our evening meal. All in all a fab night and would have no hesitation is staying again cant wait.

We enjoyed an overnight stay last Saturday night. The welcome was nice the room a little disappointing as it was so small, the damp smell from the bathroom was awful. We didn't complain because we knew they were full up and had guessed that we got the worst room because we arrived last at approximately 3.30pm.There were some very nice...

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Firstly please accept my sincerest apologies that you had such an issue during your stay. I have checked this room and can find no issue with any kind of smell. Of course I appreciate this must not have been the case on the night you stayed. I can't possibly imagine...

We saw the Orchard House on a groupon deal but as this was our wedding anniversary we wanted to stay in a luxury style room and called the hotel direct and booked the Blue Room, more like a suite really with sofa/lounge area and luxurious marble bathroom. On the night we stayed we got a rate of 169.00 so not...

We shared the Percy suite with two friends on the 27th and 28th February. The rooms were linked, but still private enough, so this was a good option. Ours was the slightly smaller room, nicely furnished and decorated. The bed was warm and comfortable, with crisp, clean sheets and goose feather pillows and duvet. The shower room was fully tiled...

We came in February for one night and stayed in the double with ensuite shower. The bedroom and ensuite were both nicely decorated, the room faced the...

Delightful short stay in this historic old house. A very warm welcome from Audrey and hot towels and Bucks Fizz on arrival. Our room was lovely and had great views over the village and out to the hills beyond. Breakfast was very nice and nothing seemed any bother to the staff. The House itself is beautiful with bags of character....

Little to add to previous reviews but mainly just confirmation of a warm welcome from Audrey, bucks fizz, warm towel, fresh milk, brownies, flapjacks, mineral water and a very nice cooked breakfast. Our room was a standard double and, whilst the smallest in the house, it was comfortable and warm. Tiny issue but tea and water were not automatically replenished....
