I can't find a place on TripAdvisor to write a review of the Island of St Kitts so the place where you we were to stay will have to suffice. I'm sure this is a delightful resort. They were as helpful as possible however the Ministry of Defense for St Kitts is terrible. We took our Covid test on Dec 23 and were negative. We uploaded everything and received an email stating it had been received but not official. On December 24 after no response we called the number on our email and got a voice mail, left a message. We then called the resort and they said it may take a day. On Christmas morning after no email we called both the number on the email and the resort. The lady at the resort was truly kind and said she would call someone and ring us back shortly. After several hours we had heard nothing and tried calling back. Sadly and no fault of anyone at resorts but we could no longer call international or longer distance due to the RV bomb in Nashville. We emailed the resort and later heard back that someone had looked at our paperwork and it looked fine, we should get an email later that night or by early morning. When we got to the airport at 6:30, in the morning on December 26 we were denied boarding without the official QR code. We still couldn't call international. We watched our email until the last minute and made a last minute change. We are in Cancun. My suggestion is go to Aruba if you want to go to Caribbean. They have their act together. As I stated earlier it's not the Marriott's issue, we own Marriott week. I just needed a place to express the frustration and warn other of the inefficiency of the Ministry of Defense in St Kitts. By the way, Interval changed our week we were using to a later date in spring to St Kitts. I'm not sure we will try again. If traveling I'm sure this is a great resort but if insure of St kitts think about the process and its failure. We are out $190 each on Covid tests.…
This vacation was great. Lots of pools, pool volleyball, swim up bar. It was overall a great vacation except for the 5 1/2 hour flight. The sunsets were gorgeous, and if you are staying here, do the volcano hike with O’Neil Jr.
Family trip, great pool for the little ones and the adults. Beach access with covered tables and chairs on the beach. Water was nice but more rough on this side of the island. The hotel food grab and go options were nice and fresh. The casino was very clean, not too busy, and odds were good at the blackjack table the night I was there. Every night at the pool there is some kind of activity, mainly for families with children. The hotel allowed venders at a particular time of the day, which is nice. The rooms were very nice and spacious. The bathroom and shower was area was large. Coffee maker and small refrigerator in the room. We had a large balcony facing the pool and ocean. Walking distance to a strip of stores and a couple of eateries down the street. Lastly, the staff was amazing. They were all very very kind. Overall, this is a great place to stay when visiting St. Kitts and you want some peaceful relaxation.…
The best part about this resort is the staff. The staff is extremely friendly and very acomadating, always taking care of any requests you may have.I would especially like to mention Caroline at the towel hut,Rudell at the pool bar an Marcus an Orlando at the Arwee bar. Also if you like to gamble they have a very nice small casino. All in All a very nice place to vacation would highly recommend to anyone looking for a Winter getaway.
The property is kept up to the highest standards. Beautiful beaches, 3 shimmering pools but mostly the staff was the greatest. Friendly, helpful, lovely human beings work at this resort. A shout to Javon, Jevern, Carolyn, Boston, Fiona and Fernella, for the excellent activities you provide. lauriemayo@ymail.com
