My experience with French hotel rooms that I can afford is that they are shabby. This is not the case for this hotel. The room was very large with a king bed in the loft (there is a narrow staircase) and two singles below. Our bathroom appeared to have been newly remodeled with a roomy shower stall, large tub, two...

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. The staff has been very kind and helpful, the restaurant more than correct. Confortable, pleasant and extremely spatious room and bathroom, good and free wifi connection. On the other side, there is no elevator in this hotel which has 2 floors (a big problem for elderly people and babies with stroller; also for...

Dinner in the restaurant was great with lovely food and fantastic wine list as you'd expect for the the location. All members of staff were welcoming and the helpful....

Just on the outskirts of Beaune. Very well located. Good hotel with a very good restaurant. The emplyees are very professional and friendly. Rooms, though, needs better cleaning. Bathrooms specially. It's unforgiving to to find the toilets and showers dirty.

We booked a junior suite via booking.com for one night on our way from Koblenz to Brive-La Gaillarde. The hotel is just facing a state road with high traffic, but our room was just on opposite side with views to the countryside and we had no problems with noise as other reviewers described. Room was simply furnished and equipped as...

The room was large and the en-suite was ok, the tin bath in the room had no function i.e. water or drain however the shower was brilliant. The glasses and cups in the room were not that clean. In the restaurant we were seated by the entrance door which was drafty, the starters were fine but the pork main course...

We picked this hotel for an overnight stop as it was almost exactly halfway between Calais and our destination while driving from London to Provence. Overall it was a very pleasant experience, and one that we may well repeat in the future, but to provide more detail here are some pros and cons... Pro: - within a few minutes of...

A bit outside Beaune, this hotel is very convenient for visiting the city and the surrounding villages. We had duplex room for 4 people and it was very nice. Not luxury, but very comfortable. We didn't have dinner in the restaurant, but was told it's well worth trying. Breakfast was nice as well. Nice gardens and pool for the summer...
