One of the best views in Scotland ( that's a big claim! ) from your own front room, your own private terrace, a kitchen with all the kit you need, big sofas and armchairs, a comfy bed - and all of it pristine clean. I just want to move in! Also, the hosts were wonderfully helpful when one of us suffered an injury. Seeing an otter on the bank just 50m away was one of the week's high spots.

We’ve just returned from a lovely week staying at Strumhor Apartment. The apartment is everything you need for a fabulous stay. The views are stunning, and the seals in the Loch are a bonus, and watching the currents in the Loch is amazing. Olga and Tony are the perfect hosts, with top tips on where to visit, even down to the local garden centre for a top cup of coffee with a fabulous view! We can’t recommend Strumhor highly enough, we had a really lovely week, and would certainly hope to make a return visit.

We stayed here for 3 days/2 nights. Loved Oban, loved Strumhor. Great views, fabulous low key hosts. Easy access to Oban and a great place to access other islands or to stay while your touring the west.

I’ve only just seen this - thank you so much. We do try to be low key as it's the kind of place people come to for a quiet get-away but we are usually on hand if anyone needs us.

Spent 3 nights at this great apartment. It has everything you need. Olga left us a loaf of lovely bread and some great cake which we enjoyed on our arrival. The location is brilliant. Spotted otters and Seals swimming past the accommodation everyday. The water is just across the road. Many species of birds as well can be viewed with the supplied bonoculars in the living room. Bird feeder just outside the front window brings finches right up to you. Quiet location not too far out of Oban. Would thoroughly recommend this to anyone wishing to spend a few days in the area.

Thanks so much for this, Wayne. So glad you had a good time. You are lucky to see otters - we don’t get them every day though most days there are seals.
