I was in the area for a business meeting. We had eaten at the restaurant several times previously, but this was the first time we stayed in the hotel.

Service at the reception was efficient and welcoming enough. Service in the restaurant is always efficient and friendly.

The room was clean and spacious, with a lot of windows and a small balcony. The beds were very comfortable. It was hot, so I needed to sleep with the windows open. The room faced the road, so it was a bit noisy as a result. You might ask for a room on the opposite side of the hotel if you like to sleep with the windows open.

The internet worked well enough for my needs. The hotel put waters and fruit out in a common area, which was very nice if you are not a big breakfast eater.

My only complaint would be the shower which was freestanding with a wrap around shower curtain. Unfortunately, the shower curtain was about 20 cm too short, resulting in the water from the shower running into the floor of the bathroom.

Overall, the pluses outweigh the negatives...so I will likely stay here again during our next business meeting in the area.

Lovely hotel on the southern shores of Lake Constance, not far away from St Gallen, Konstanz and so forth.

Rooms are clean and relatively spacious. And relatively cheap (100 chf / single).

Cuisine is very good.

Free WLAN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sometimes some smell from the nearby cattles... thats part of the experience.

The name conveys the true hospitality of the owners who operate this establishment with a passion and joy to delight the guests.

We had a great meal served by friendly staff and it was indeed good value for the experience we thoroughly enjoyed.

stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the Arbon summer days festival. This hotel is in a wonderful setting, with a great outdoor seating area under the trees. We only ate breakfast at the restaurant, but it was nice and fresh. Not the cheapest of places to stay, considering the rooms are dated and small, but it was clean. we would like to return again one day.

On the shore of Bodensee we enjoyed the services of the hotel and the restaurant as part of a business offsite. The service of the hotel, restaurant, seminar facilities were great. We could make full use of our time, staff was very friendly and able to fulfill our requirements with great flexibility and care.

Stayed here one night only. Small room but spotlessly clean and good bed. Small bathroom. Very good dinner in the garden restaurant, excellent and effective service.
Ample breakfast buffet of excellent quality. Located in a typical swiss farming area near the Bodensee. Great.

The rooms at the back were not in the evening sun and so quite cool which was good as there is no A/c. The rooms were roomy and comfortable but the shower in our room was in a bath. Not so good for us as we prefer a large dedicated shower. The provision of fresh fruit to help yourself from in the hallway was a nice touch which we enjoyed and took apple and kiwi. Food in the restaurant is expensive but where is it cheap in Switzerland except for the Swiss and it was good.

Located near the Bodensee, very nice view, good trail for hikes, good trail for biking, separate from walkers. The area and surroundings are very quite when you abstract the birds singing early in the morning, but that's nature. Kitchen is very good, the menu is ok and the service is fast and efficient.

Perfect hotel in modern building and one original farmhousestyle building. Rooms are spacious. We were there as a couple but had a room with an attic with two extra beds. Big bathroom all very modern. Comfortabele beds. A Nice garden. In the garden lost of Nice plants, also spices like a coca cola plant and buble gum. Lost of roses. Breakfast is buffet style, all with fresh products. Different types of freshly baked bread. The hotel is bike friendly. Easely reachable from the bodensee bike route and also by car from Bregenz or Sankt Gallen. The hotel has a partnership with Hotel Seelust at Friedrichshaven. The walls in the hotel part of the building have art. on display. Nice and friendly personel. Also available is a very good restaurant,

This Hotel is amazing, in superb grounds, even grow their own herbs in window boxes. The rooms are stunning so spacious and clean. The views are chocolate box views, with mountains, countryside and the lake. The staff here are so friendly and helpful, the menus are in German, they will more than willing to help and speak English. There are a lot of dinning rooms so plenty of space. There was a wedding reception here on the Saturday night the tables looked very nicely decorated.
Just down the lane is a for footpath which is worth doing and the lake which has amazing views.
On the landing in between floors is a fridge with cold drinks to help your self and a bowl of fresh fruit, nice touch.
Would stay here again.
