I stayed there with a bunch of my friends. Its a place which nicely blend with the nature and It's one of the best places if you want to spend a holiday for relaxation and refresh your mind. When I went there, dusk had fallen and our cabins were decorated with dim lights and nicely placed antiques which gave me...

This is hands down my most favorite place on the island. I have pretty much travelled around the entire island but something about Galapita Rocks still takes my breath away & I keep coming back. Stunning secluded location with open rooms and amazing Sri Lankan food. It's just the most romantic spot for couples! I also went there with a...

I love places in forest in nature which are reasonable in price. In Sri Lanka dry zone Galpita is hard to beat.On the bund of Manik Ganga(River) on a rock isolated from other human settlements. Beautifully designed artistic.1/2 hour to Katargama and Yala .The road is amazing saw 12 wild elephants in 11 locations a sambur , wild boar ,and...

Beautiful tranquil place in an idyllic setting perched on a rock above a river. So tastefully decorated with Sri Lankan antiques and the best authentic Sri Lankan food we've tasted on our month long holiday. All cooked on an open fire by an old Sri Lankan cook and not a trained chef thank goodness. The staff were fabulous and the...

I've never felt at peace so quickly as I did at Galapitta, time immediately stopped and all that was left was the amazing scenery that surrounds the property. The rickety bridge over the river is the induction to what you know is then going to be a wild escape fro reality into a place of amazing energy and beauty. The...

Galapita is just one of my favorite place to rest and chill in a romantic atmosphere away from the beaten tracks in Sri Lanka. Poetic place with great rooms furnished with antiques, delicious and tasty srilankan food, great tree house for the sunset. AC, sparkling, 100% security and privacy lovers, this is not a place for you! But for those...

Truly it is magic and pure natural. I found this place for my self just over than a decade ago. Ever since then i...
