Situated just on the edge of Yala National Park, this hotel proved to be the perfect location to be based at for our three day trip to the Park. Very well appointed with great facilities when you have any downtime. Well organised. The requirement for an escort from room to reception/restaurant proved well worth it when we awoke to find...

Cinnamon Wild Yala is a well managed resort aimed I believe for people to visit the local game park just up the road, therefore most people only stay between 1 and 3 nights and it is a tightly run operation from the incredible array of food and beverages to being escorted back to your lodge at night - just in...

This is a good place to stay for safari and walking, rooms are little chalets and were very well fitted out with fast wifi it's nice to sit on the balcony but at night there is the mossie! They ask you to get a gard to walk you through the ground in the night time but we used our phones,...

This hotel is so amazing. It is located Right by a small water hole where you can see crocodiles and buffaloes. One Day a elephant also walked Right truogh the hotel. So you can be in the swimmingpool and see the wildlive from there. You stay in Nice bungalows. The place is clear and the food good.

Rooms are separate chalets, spacious, very comfortable and with a small balcony for sittting out (although a bit public as we were right next to a path), the bathroom was brilliant. If you're concerned about close proximity to animal life then this might not be for you, monkeys do come on the roofs, squirrels are everywhere and occasional larger beasts...

Absolutely brilliant experience. We loved our lodge. We had wild boar sleeping underneath us at night . They were a little noisy at first but settled down by 11pm . Staff are great and very friendly. Nothing is too much trouble but food and drinks are very expensive. Don't forget to add tax and service charge. The price on the...

Rooms are individual chalets in the jungle a few minutes walk from the hotel. Very comfortable and well equipped although the lighting is a little dim. It was wonderful to be able to relax on the veranda and watch the wildlife and exotic birds. Excellent buffet . A highlight was the afternoon nature walk from the hotel down to the...

The hotel public areas and rooms are luxurious. Rooms are very private and spacious with great beds and bathrooms. The surroundings and outlook are spectacular. Animals especially wild boars roam the grounds and there are crocodiles nearby. The food is very good and service friendly and efficient. The only room for improvement would be more deckchairs around the pool.

Stayed here specifically to see animals. It's perfect for that. We had a jungle lodge which was more private away from pool area which suited us. Monkeys , birds around the complex and a lone male elephant walked down past our lodge within an hour of our arrival. Pretty rare occurrence. The lodge was great really comfortable, regular stocks of...

We stayed here in mid December as family and friends for 3 nights. We had 4 rooms altogether. 1 x double, 2 x double inter-connecting and 1 x Triple. The best attribute of this hotel is it's location and setting. Unlike a big traditional style hotel (i.e. Jetwing Yala), this hotel consist of spread-out chalets. However, some of the chalets...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Cinnamon Wild after undergoing a brand enhancement is more than a resort; it is an extension of the Yala National park and is intended to be part of the National park. It is designed to represent rustic luxury, resembling a game lodge. Cinnamon Wild Yala exceeds guest expectations with interiors that give the camp look and feel, embedded with large trunk boxes, old vintage furniture, director's chairs and indigenous artwork. ... more   less
