Located in the middle of the nature, far away of from city life and surrounded with sounds of birds. Our cottage was architecturally interesting though partially there was need for renovation. Also linens needed updating. This is a place to relax and enjoy the great service of highly motivated staff. We had the most personal amenities with fresh and tasty...

The hotel was great and the staff very friendly. As others said before, wifi was not actually available. Safari tour was organized for us within half an hour of our arrival! Open air shower was lovely. Please note there's a mesh on top so while you can enjoy the fresh air and the sounds, animals can't get in, except for...

The hotel has somewhat of an apocalyptic feel to it and is in need of some love. The staff were welcoming but the food was a bit uninspiring and overpriced. With little/no other option we actually decided to move on after one night partly as this worked better for us and partly due to the hotel.

I travelled here with a friend and paid a lot as it was advertised as luxury. I must say first of all, isn't not luxury. It's nice bungalow accommodation; there is no luxury. I will say we shared our thoughts with the manager, George on our departure (& during our stay). The best things were - staff in the restaurant...

Unique little bungalows! We enjoyed our stay here, our toddler loved the geese and roosters. The service and food was great. Everyone was really helpful, thank you! Also the guide they arranged, Leel, he was knowledgeable and spoke well English made our safari tour real fun! Only thing was the insects, but it's the middle of the jungle so it's...

It's near Udawalawe National Park. Surrounded with threes, small lakes with gooses, beautiful chalets and open air bathrooms. Do not have wifi. Air conditioner worked properly, but cannot adjust temperature (something wrong with control). Bed and pillows were too soft, many of us got backache after one-night sleep. Very nice service. Very nice dinner and breakfast they offered.

We stayed here for one night. The manager and all staff were very accommodating and helpful. The setting is beautiful, very picturesque and quiet with only 7 rooms in the hotel. The pool is average with a few insects floating around but one of the staff members immediately turned on extra filters, used a net to remove any leaves and...

The bungalows at this hotel are beautiful designed and really fit in the surrounding. There are only seven bungalows at the location, but the owner is planning to build some more. Inside the bungalows you have a good bed and airco. Interior is with wood and looks really nice. The bathroom is downstairs and is part inside (toilet and washbasin)...

I don't know where the positive reviewers stayed, they either got the place muddled up with somewhere else or they have poor standards. We stayed in Kingfisher hut the bathroom was very dirty, the terrace & steps were constructed from sleepers a lot of which were rotting away & very dangerous. A frog/toad was living in the cupboard under the...

This hotel is by far the most decrepit, run down and badly managed property I have ever stayed at. Its description as being a “luxury hotel” is misrepresentation of the highest order. Apart from the state of the shower area with the broken mesh roof in our “Imperial Chalet”, the swimming pool area was filthy, the bed sheets were hung...
