We've been pleasantly surprised by this resort. The staff has been very responsive (unlike so many other resorts in Sri Lanka) and very helpful with the booking of our 3 safaris. The service at the restaurant is also good and the prices reasonable. The rooms are spacious and clean. The only negative points are the bathrooms, which are depressing and...

I read a few average reviews of this hotel and decided to stay here given its location right near the Udawalawe national park. We had a good stay here. Highlights: 10-15 mins to the park entrance and the buffet food was better than many of the other places we stayed so we were pleasantly surprised! The resort has a decent...

It is very conveniently located for the visitors to the Udawalawa National Park. Spacious decent rooms with privacy. Good selections for meals. We stayed for one night. Fast check-in and check out. The massage that my son had was very good. After dinner we found ourselves in complete darkness into the room but they fix it very promptly.

We went there with the family, my parents and 4 brothers. It was a nice experience, it felt like you were really in between the animals. Good food, really nice rooms with good airco. Friendly people so overall a good experience!

My family of 6, two grandchildren, their parents and grandparents stayed there for two nights during our tour in Sri-Lanka. The hotel is beautiful, nice lounge, nice rooms and swimming pool. The restaurant is quite nice and the food good. The kids loved their pasta bar. We were there a Saturday and Sunday and had a safari in the national...

We were a little concerned after reading several bad reviews of this resort but were fairly happy with our experience there. Positives - nicely fitted out rooms. The deluxe rooms have a separate seating area and lovely bathrooms. Beds are really big and comfortable. Internet was probably the best we have found in Sri Lanka. You do need to log...

It is very conveniently located for the visitors to the Udawalawe National Park. Spacious decent rooms with privacy. Good selections for meals. We stayed for one night. Fast check-in and check out. Some staff lacking hospitality. Found it when we came during a heavy rain and asked for an umbrella. Again at the restaurant when we asked for a finger...

This is a good hotel. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The welcome was not the warmest. Food was buffet style and at r 2100 per head a lot more expensive than anywhere else we have eaten in Sri Lanka. That's ok if it is good but it is not. It was mediocre at best and to add insult we...

Title says it really. There is little choice in the area so if you want to go on safari you have to make do. We stayed for two nights, wished we had gone for one but wanted to cover it incase a second safari was needed. Room was massive, this was good. It was very poorly lit though so packing...
