Good location with a nice view of the beach from the balcony. However the balcony is shared with the three rooms on the second floor. The two end rooms are allowed privacy. But the middle room has both other room occupants walking by you door and window because that where the stairs come up. That makes the middle room undesirable...

Overlooking the San Agustinillo beach, this place was our favorite of the five hotels we were at this time around in Oaxaca. It's not five-star accommodations, to be sure, but we were comfortable and happy, the view from the shared balcony (where we wanted to just sit and read all day – and for all the rest of our days)...

La Mora is a great place in San Agustinillo. I stayed in 3 hotels and, and it was the best. There are 3 rooms on the second level above the restaurant, and a big one bedroom apartment on the third floor. Two of the rooms are small, with bar size fridges stocked with beer, soft drinks and water. One is...

Very down to earth and lovely hosts, who are very responsive by email and open and kind whilst working in the cafe. I would have appreciated a bit more an intro to the space however. To be fair I did arrive during the height of the cafe's dinner hour and this is the essential fact with La Mora, that it is...

We had a wonderful 5 night stay in the apartment with our son. Overlooks the beach and has 2 great deck chairs for lounging. Well equipped kitchen though we ate out for all our meals. Fridge is stocked with refreshments at very reasonable prices. Downstairs there is a delightful cafe serving Mexican breakfasts and Italian for dinner. Across the road...

After a few years, I returned to.la mora posada for a period of 5 weeks---nov/dec 2013. I wasn't disappointed w/my choice. The ocean breezes/views, comfortable beds---senza air conditioning (great fans) hot showers, reasonably priced-cafe-restaurant below-wifi internet, etc.. The tourists & locals I met were relaxed & delightful.....I highly recommend visiting this location in Mexico especially La Mora Posada!

Having seen all the other places on the San Agustinillo beach, all told I think this is the best. It has a terrace, is a few metres from the ocean, is incredibly clean and has a handy restaurant downstairs with wonderful, helpful staff. Sure, the sea is noisy, but basically it's right on the ocean, so hardly a surprise. Lorena,...

For 18 nights in March, we were treated to the sounds of the waves, a view of local and visiting surfers, and the most attentive service on the Oaxacan coast. Our room was the top floor apartment, which is nicely decorated and extremely comfortable. Staying at La Mora made us feel as if we'd been given a special gift. During...

Hi. Last week I spent 4 days in San Agustinillo. And thanks to previous feedback on La Mora Posada, I went to this place for breakfast and lunch: WON-DER-FUL! DE-LI-CIOUS! Not only the quality and taste of the food, but the place itself: so lovely, nice view on the beach. Try the carrot and orange juice! The cappucino! The yogourt...
