Dreamy beach front cabañas with shady hammocks and the sounds of the sea to send you to sleep. Note that these are simple cabañas, no air conditioning or hot water, but they do have excellent mosquito nets and a location right on the sand that beach lovers will appreciate.

A group of 7 of us rented cabanas and had a wonderful time. The rooms were lovely, with double beds, mosquito nets, and bathroom-shower facilities. Right on the beach you can't ask for more. Out front is a break that can be surfed or body boarded. You can swim out front too, but there is also a little bay just...

The owner and the staff was super chill.. The reception is on the beach :) I loved the hammocs and the overall relaxed feeling. However just know you won´t have hot water or A/C. The beds are snug.. so try and get a big room or get more fans. The view and the atmosphere is really relaxing and nice.

We spent 5 days at Un Sueno with some friends and our 1.5 year old and had a glorious time. The cabanas were charming, and Julien and his team went out of their way to make us comfortable with our baby and any special needs. The beach in front was a bit rough for a baby, but there was calm...

We were a little bit uncertain prior to our visit to Un Sueno due to some of the reviews posted here on Tripadvisor. Now, after our stay, I really don't know what these people were on about - we didn't find a single point of set back or disappointment! It is a wonderful, relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable place right in...

First of all, let me say that Efrian, the manager, Julien, the owner, and the entire staff at Un Sueno were some of the nicest people I have met in my travels through Mexico. They went out of their way to see that I was enjoying my stay. My cabana was one right on the beach and closest to the...

We just returned from a blissful 2 week stay at Un Sueño and we didn't want to leave!! Our cabaña was massive, super clean and comfortable (at the entrance with views of the ocean and backed onto the road but this was never a problem- we slept so well!!) You're reminded to take care of water which is excellent for...

We visited San Agustinillo and stayed at Un Sueno for 8 nights in Feb. The hotel is perfectly situated and has made great use of the space with the cabanas, great restaurant, and much needed hammocks. The staff were perfectly friendly and helpful, the accommodation is basic but we loved it - a perfectly chilled and relaxing vacation. The village...

Stayed at Un Sueno for nearly a week in February 2016. Julien, owner greeted us and was very helpful and helped us book hotel in San Cristobal for after we left. Water supply bit dodgy but room was clean and comfortable. Hot cakes for breakfast recommended. Lot of restaurants to choose from along the beach and Mazunte within walking distance....

Just returned from a one week stay at Un Sueno. San Agustinillio is a fabulous small beach town. The main road runs right thru town, but they are just completing a "Main Street" project on it, complete with decorative road pavers, sidewalks, and improving the facades of the businesses. That said, there is still a lot of road noise from...
