We stopped on Saturday afternoon for a bite to eat. Was pleasantly surprised how good the food was and the beer was ice cold. Our waitress was a sweetheart and made us feel very welcome. The patio was nice and the country music was playing in the background. Will be back again.

In the area for a week, I didn't stay at this hotel, but I enjoyed the dining room four evenings. They served decent pub food and had a nice patio. Service was a bit spotty but there were not enough servers for a busy place.

We stayed one night in this hotel and we found the room quite nice. The Queen sized bed was comfortable as well as the pillows. The decor was okay and clean . Hot shower which had a good spray was good. Being beside the main street was not a problem as far as noise. Overall good!

The Dominion Hotel has a lot of history and ambience - having been around since 1865. It has a great location - Main Street and right beside the river. You have to be prepared for noise from the street and from live music downstairs on Saturday nights. The room itself was fine, big enough, a nice deep tub, and a coffee maker. The bathroom needs some updating, and the addition of bathrobes, a hairdryer, and a mini fridge would have made our stay even more convenient.

1) Central Core Minden location near park and river 2) live music tavern in house with open air patio 3) renovated interior - clean with ac and tv 4) a bit pricey for what you get, however if you want a true flavour of Minden, this is your best bet Enjoy !!
