Service beyond expectations.

We stayed at the Wild Swan while attending a 50th wedding anniversary in the area and came away very impressed with all aspects of our stay. The setting is a century home with an adjacent small river. The home has been maintained as per the period and is as clean as you can imagine. The room was very comfortable with our own washroom and a coffee/tea station set up in the hall.

The friendliness of the owner and her 12 year old daughter was what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. We were treated to a 4 course breakfast in the morning which was a reason to go by itself.

We left with a gift bag for the road.

Could not have asked for any more!

Rungnapa and her daughter Sierra welcome you to their home like you’re family. The house is tastefully decorated throughout with antiques and is spotlessly clean. All of the rooms have bathrooms and the most comfy bed I have slept in for a long time. The breakfast? Absolutely amazing! And you can also order dinner from Ranu for a small additional cost if you like. The front porch is a great place to sip a beverage and watch the world go by or have a chat with Ranu and Sierra. You will not be disappointed by Wild Swan B&B!

The Wild Swan Inn is a very clean and bright place. The Riverview Bedroom with jacuzzi was very comfortable. Ranganapa is a great host and served us a sumptous breakfast of omelette, friuts and yogurt. Her dinner padthai dinner was good. We enjoyed our three days stay there. Highly recommended.

From the moment we arrived, we were treated with such kindness and care. Our host Rungnapa welcomed our arrival with hot chocolate and cookies in our room. The Highlands room was large and comfortable. We had a peaceful rest, and took advantage of the luxurious in-room tub. So nice to soak in after a a day exploring Halliburton.

Our weekend away celebrating our tenth wedding anniversary was made extra special because of Rungnapa and her delicious culinary skills. The breakfasts, and extra, generous tastings of home cooked Thai dishes were superb and so thoughtful.

Thank you for a perfect weekend. We look forward to returning again!

The Wild Swan B&B was a wonderful warm oasis on a very blustery winter night. Rungnapa was a very friendly hostess. The room was immaculately clean and furnished with antiques. The bed was comfortable and breakfast generous. It was a real treat to stay here after driving in icy conditions.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Wild Swan for a one night stay for work. Ranganapa was such a gracious host. What a house. Beautiful antiques and very clean. Had a nice walk into town for dinner along the River. Beds were very comfortable and rooms well appointed. Breakfast was outstanding. The lemon yogurt was divine. I look forward to returning. Dawn T.

Bob, the host, booked my stay for the 16th and 17th over the phone while pulled over on the side of a busy Toronto highway. He repeated the date 3 times and said he had a lively suite for my honeymoon. When we arrived on the 16th- Bob appeared frazzled and ran arou d saying "I'm not going to get excited, let me look, let me look". He brought his pencil-filled book back and pointed out that he had listed our stay as the 17th and 18th. He became very upset and started yelling at my husband and I when I inquired "sir, there's no need to stress- this seems like a miscommunication?". He replied that I had been mistake. And how could I expect him to do anything about this. He the. Offered another room that I declined as I was. Ow very uncomfortable with this seemingly unstable man. I asked him to ensure that I was not charged and that we would happily go home to Toronto. He refused a refund and literally used his body to corral my husband and I to the door where he screamed "I cannot deal with you! Get out! Get out!". And slammed the door on us.
As far as customer service goes- I was not impressed. Being calm and polite is the only way to go, especially being that my husband and I never got riled up at all.
T'was a lovely drive and here are many b&b s along the way.
Needless to say, I would strongly encourage anyone to stay away from the wild swan inn!
