We stayed at the Wild Swan while attending a 50th wedding anniversary in the area and came away very impressed with all aspects of our stay. The setting is a century home with an adjacent small river. The home has been maintained as per the period and is as clean as you can imagine. The room was very comfortable with our own washroom and a coffee/tea station set up in the hall.
The friendliness of the owner and her 12 year old daughter was what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. We were treated to a 4 course breakfast in the morning which was a reason to go by itself.
We left with a gift bag for the road.
Could not have asked for any more!
Our weekend away celebrating our tenth wedding anniversary was made extra special because of Rungnapa and her delicious culinary skills. The breakfasts, and extra, generous tastings of home cooked Thai dishes were superb and so thoughtful.
Thank you for a perfect weekend. We look forward to returning again!

As far as customer service goes- I was not impressed. Being calm and polite is the only way to go, especially being that my husband and I never got riled up at all.
T'was a lovely drive and here are many b&b s along the way.
Needless to say, I would strongly encourage anyone to stay away from the wild swan inn!
