The facilities here were great with friendly and helpful hosts. A delightful breakfast was served and it was nice to be able to prepare some of our meals as well in a well equipped kitchen. Beds were comfortable and the accommodation spacious.
A great place to relax

We recently stayed in the lovely "12 miles lake B&B". What a great place!
The property is right on the water. You can see the lake literally from your bed.And you can use a canoe, a kayak and a paddle boat to enjoy the lake. There are also a cozy gazebo and a fire pit, which unfortunately we did not have a chance to use due to the bed weather conditions.
The room is big, it is a bedroom and a living room all together. Tastefully decorated and inviting. A separate kitchen has more then you need. It is very clean and thoughtfully organized. You have your breakfast there. The breakfast is tasty and plenty. Eggs, pancakes, homemade jam and bread.
And the most of all the owners, Kate and Dorian. Who went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. They would give us recommendations for the restaurants, markets and trails to hike. They are very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating people.
We certainly will be back!

What a great experience this weekend at 12 Mile Lake B & B. Our hosts Kate and Dorian were exceptional. They made every effort to go above and beyond and ensured our stay was nothing less 5 stars. The property is beautiful nestled in the woods. The lake front is breathtaking. Kate cooks up an incredible breakfast guaranteed to fill you up. If you a looking for a cozy/quiet place to stay, you have found your place, look no further!!!

This is an exceptional find: extremely clean, spacious B and B with every thoughtful touch imaginable. There is plenty of room to spread out, with a separate sitting area (L-shaped couch), private kitchenette, and exceptionally clean bathroom. It's extremely well stocked, and the breakfasts prepared by the owner were excellent. We enjoyed use of the canoe, kayak and peddle boat. We also enjoyed swimming in the clear lake. There is a screened-in gazebo for the use of guests, as well as comfortable lake-view sitting areas.

Ours was an amazing and romantic getaway. From the get go,Kate and her husband, the owners, were really nice and kind to us. Since it was raining and a bit chilly the day we got there, they immediately offered rain jackets and sweaters, such nice people! They even offered dinner although it was not included! The cottage was dreamy, right next to the lake, and so quiet. There was a paddle boat and a kayak available. a very big fire place, a gazebo, BBQ. The kitchen was so clean and equipped with anything you could possibly ask for including a toaster, blender, different dishes and she also offered a free dish washing service which was so nice of her. We felt at home during our stay. The whole point of going to Minden for us was to go and see Algonquin park but we ended up having such a great time in the cottage that we didnt go to Algonquin not even once! FYI, Kate is an amazing cook!
