We received a warm welcome from John and Ceilia and enjoyed our stay in this stunning part of North Wales. The property is ideally situated for a large variety of outdoor activities including walks, bike rides, etc. with zip lines and other high adrenaline activities just north of Blaenau Ffestiniog (walkable). The breakfast was superb with vegetarians well catered for....

Great location - it's actually by a power station but don't let that put you off - it's a hydro one and not visible from the house. Loved the views and it has an amazing garden on a hillside where you can just sit, drink wine and look at the views and the nearby steam train. John and Celia couldn't...

Whilst we didn't stay we are sure you'll get a very warm welcome here. By prior arrangement we charged our Nissan Leaf whilst going to find the new series of geocaches nearby. The host was even kind enough to join our journey as our own personal guide. Good energy in every way!

What a wonderful stay this was for the 10 of us that trickled in groups one by one in our convoy to the Bryn Elltyd Eco Guest House. Welcomed in by homemade cakes accompanied with teas and coffees before settling ourselves in for the weekend. Both John and Ceilia were lovely enough to let us have free reign for the...

We had a wonderful stay with John and Ceilia at their eco retreat in the mountains. The location is central to cycling, walking and adventure hot spots with plenty to do right at their doorstep as well. John is very knowledgeable about the area and gives great itinerary suggestions. The accommodation is comfortable and charming and the cooked breakfast, fresh...

Wonderful welcome of tea and homemade cake. Room spacious and comfortable. Lovely garden, with birds and ducks, and view of the Ffestiniog steam railway and mountain river. Breakfast freshly cooked and ingredients sourced locally.Service and local knowledge good. This break was of particular interest to us because we shared the eco philosophy and this gave us the opportunity to exchange...

John and Ceilia were extremely hospitable from the moment we arrived. The room and the common areas are quite basic, but the entire house is warmly decorated and had everything which we needed to feel at home. Location is very convenient to get to everything including the nearby mines (zip world) and hiking trails (which we will be back for)....

We popped in for a one night stay to this lovely and quirky B&B. The owners were really friendly, John showed us around the property and it's Eco-friendly features also the gardens. We are vegans, and we were really surprised that hosts have catered to our food preferences so attentively - upon arrival we had some fruit tea with homemade...

My wife and I had booked the Bounce Below activity in Blaenau Ffestiniog on Saturday morning and decided to make a weekend of it so looked for somewhere local to stay. We arrived at 2030 on the Friday evening and were greeted by John and Ceilia who made us feel very welcome with a pot of tea and homemade cakes!...

Really great that you loved our place. More adventure activities just keep coming in the area OR still great wildlife / mountains / heritage. More than welcome for return visit.
