We really enjoyed our stay at the Heathbank. All the staff were really friendly taking time out to talk to us. Great food, really enjoyed the cockles from the local beach. Rooms very comfortable. Would definitly go back.

Stayed here for one night whilst island hopping. The hotel was well equipped and tastefully decorated. Staff were very pleasant and helpful and the food was of a high standard. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay - will be back!

The entrance is more like that if a pub (which it was) rather than a well run good quality restaurant with rooms as it now is. I can only review the restaurant as we didn't stay at Heathbank but other diners whom we met on a trip to Mingulay were very pleased with the accomodation as well as the quality...

As a group of 8 friends who had travelled down the islands this was our final night. Staff really welcoming and all our rooms were fresh and bright. Great views for our window. Barra is a beautiful island and we were lucky to see it in glorious sunshine. To finish off we had a lovely meal in the hotel. We...

We were undertaking a tour of the Hebrides, albeit by car unlike some rather obnoxious fellow guest cyclists. We were greeted warmly on arrival and directed to our room, front facing with a view of the sea. Only downside was the shower in the bath was hard to use due to a sloping apex roof. Bed was comfortable and the...

A very pleasant couple of days at Heathbank. Furnishings and decoration are recent and pleasant and my single room was spacious with a decent view (often single rooms are neither of those!). Cleaning standards are very good. The breakfasts were excellent, especially the haddock.

We have just returned from beautiful Barra and an exceptional stay at the Heathbank. From the welcome we received on arrival to our reluctant farewell to Marion this morning , absolutely everything was just what we hoped for and more. Marion and the lovely team who work for her provided customer service of the highest standard. They were all genuinely...
