We were lured to stay here by the idea of staying in such an old Chateau. The views from our room did not disappoint. It is truly magnificent. The owner seems to be trying his best, but unfortunately during our stay, he was having some staffing issues. We stayed for a week, which was a mistake. I think if you... More

This hotel is a must If you are going off the path from the Riviera. Friendly staff, only 6 charming big rooms, all with magnificent view. Two types of breakfast and a fantastic restaurant just 20 meters from the hotel.

Located just far away enough from the Côte d'Azur to be able to maintain a sleepy French hill village atmosphere Le bar-sur-loup provides a great backdrop for the chateau de grasse. This was the one place on our holiday itinerary that I kept as a surprise from my family .. And it was a HIT ! Fantastic rooms with gorgeous... More

We stayed two nights. The room was spacious and had a breath taking view of the valley. It is a small hotel nicely done inside. The proprietor who speaks some English was very hospitable. Highly recommend. Getting to the place can be a bit tricky (using Google maps took us there in a very complex route). Plan your way before... More

My boyfriend and I booked one night at this Chateau en route from Nice to Provence and we were really glad we did. Grasse is known for its perfume industry and this chateau oversees a picturesque French town that feels very removed from the Côte d'Azur even though its a mere half an hour away. There's not much to this... More

This was a great Cannes work stop over that offered free on site parking. I particularly appreciated the spacious bedroom & bathroom with good quality sheets & soft towels & pipping hot pressurized water. The furnishings are sober but tasteful with pretty fabrics & téra côté floors & rugs & wood beamed exposed ceiling. We had a family room as that's all... My wife and I stayed for two nights in August, in a double room. The room had amazing views out over the valley and, sat outside having a drink, paragliders could be seen launching themselves off the top of the hill overlooking The village. The room was spacious - but beware of the neighbouring church's bell - which chimes throughout... More

Set in a beautiful village perched high up in the hills you really do need a car to get to and from here but it's a great base for exploring the area. Car parking is right outside the hotel and was very safe. The room was cool - as you would expect in an old building at 350m (a fan... More

“All rooms look good, but we choose 2 rooms with single beds. Our teenage daughters were in one on the 2nd floor which was very large with great views and we were in one on the 3rd floor which was not as big, but still spacious and incredible views. Our bathroom had 2 hand basins in it as well.”
