Lovely family run hotel and restaurant. Michelin star quality food, quality wines, clean and comfortable rooms with air conditioning, fantastic welcome from the proprietors. This is a gem and would recommend.

As always an excellent stay. We received a lovely welcome and the friendliness and quality service was present throughout. Our room was in the main auberge, was clean and comfortable and was air conditioned - good given the temperature outside. We love the food served with the choice available and the exceptional quality of the tastes and cooking. Service was... More

We stayed for one night as a stop over on our way south, It was Bastille Day and the hotel was empty. We were treated to a gourmet meal which was on a par with meals in 5star restaurants in London. Room was small but adequate with air conditioning. Breakfast excellent. We would recommend it to anyone and hope to... More

A very welcoming and attractive country hotel, specialising in game and meat cuisine. A nice touch is that the ground floor rooms have tables and chairs outside, facing onto a pleasant courtyard, so you can drink/eat there if you don't fancy the restaurant. Our €100 double was clean, spacious and air-conditioned. We arrived late and the staff were happy to... More

We stopped overnight here on our way to the South of France and were delighted. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with air conditioning and modern bathrooms. It is situated in a quiet village so a good night sleep is guaranteed. We ate dinner in the restaurant - lovely! A good menu with something for everyone and very helpful serving... More

Great to be able to return to this excellent auberge. We received a lovely welcome from Madame and this continued throughout our stay. This time we had a room overlooking the courtyard which was very comfortable, though we prefer ones in the auberge itself. Dinner and breakfast were both of excellent quality. Dinner menu had changed but was of the... More

Stayed overnight on trip back to the UK from the Pyrenees. We seemed to be the only guests but were told they had been full the night before. The restaurant was opened seemingly specially for us although some local people arrived later. We were amazed that with so few clients they could run such an extensive menu but nonetheless the... “This is a quiet location but our room got fairly warm even in April - I note that there is air conditioning but we did not test it. I would check to make sure the restaurant is open before booking as there does not appear to be anywhere else around to eat. Breakfast at the Tabac next door.”
