Jean Luc met us at the front door and was the most gracious host imaginable. We had a lovely room that had an amazing view from front to back. The Chateau had an interesting artistic flavor with each room being named after an author. the artwork was also creative and imaginative. ( and as an American I can say the...

With friends and family from all over the States and from Belgium, we hit the jackpot ! This gorgeous place is owned by Rebekah and Richard. They live in another beautiful chateau nearby. Such grand service ! Richard checked in with us the first day to see if all was well and to give us some special tips about places...

If you're expecting a Versailles type chateau this is definitely not for you . It is a charming unostentatious family home with a lot of original features. It has a very "lived in " feeling and the host and hostess are so welcoming. As well as the antique there is also the very modern in the shape of artwork ,...

A 3 night stay for 4 couples with classic cars in this delightful family chateau. Our hosts cooked two superb gourmet dinners and gave us extensive breakfast buffets. Individually styled comfortable bedrooms. A lovely quiet location.

A place for peace and quiet in a small chateau full of objets d'arts. A very good breakfast with a congenial host. Beautiful, mown pastures in front of the chateau. Cute little low doorway into the bathroom.

The Chateau du Pin was the best of five places we stayed in during this holiday. The others were all hotels, where admittedly there are advantages, such as knowing what you’re going to eat (on the first night, we decamped before the last course arrived, having no idea). But the advantages of this superior sort of chambre d’hote far outweigh...

Historic family home set it wonderful grounds (Grand ageing oaks).Positioned on the edge of Brocéliande forest. Paimpont and Merlins tomb within an hours drive if you like Arthurian legend. Ikea and other retail outlets are close by if you are looking shopping.Family suite was fine for 4 of us.Friendly and welcoming owner.

Brittany is stocked with cities and towns where one can linger for hours, soaking in the history, unique architecture, regional cuisine and friendly people. Some people are drawn to stay near the northeast coast so they can concentrate on visiting Mont St. Michel and St. Malo. This more familiar with the region may be drawn the Atlantic coast and places...

the madame of the house rised her voice when she saw our electricel tea pot for making hot water for the following day of our 1200 km trip. NOT in my house you may use this. The so called dinner the night before was salmon from the micro oven, the wine was charged 13 € for 1/3 of bottle in...
