Feltre is a historic city with great architecture. From the bus/train depot you walk straight up into the old city. It's so small and quaint, we found the B&B without a map just by walking up to the main square, locating Paradiso and turning left. The B&B occupies the 2nd and 3rd floors of a 15th century home. It was rennovated 30 years ago, but retains the old doors, latches, beams and charm. Our hostess showed us our area on the upper floor. We had a large bed and pretty bathroom. If you're a family or small group, there is room to sleep additional people on a platform bed in the sitting room next to the bedroom. There's also a TV there to watch. The hostess is very kind and speaks great English. She knew the train and bus schedules quite well. And, we were also able to use her Internet/computer. (The internet cafe in town is out of business). Because of our interest, she asked her son to stop by (a geologist and rock climber) and he shared with us insights on the UNESCO designation and rock climbing. Breakfast was a simple European affair with a big cup of coffee & milk, toast (with yummy home made plum jam), yogurt and danish. And, due to the hard rain, she kindly drove us down to the train station early the next morning. Our fee for 2 people was under 60e (I didn't write it down and don't recall exactly). A great value!!!! PS -- Get to the train a little early because there can be quite a long ticket line. Also, do not forget to validate the train ticket.…
