We had to climb a steep cobblestone path with our luggage and no help from the staff, The rooms were dank, dusty and moldy. Of our three rooms, only one had air conditioning. The lobby was cluttered and very dusty. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

The village and the room corresponded with the pictures and with what we had read about the hotel and the village. We will probably visit Apricale again. The service at the hotel was a bit sloppy, though. The wi-fi didn't work very well, our TV didn't work, the light bulbs on the terrace was out of order. The reception could...

If you are interested in an excusion into the hills above the coast from the San Remo region - Apricale is worth at least one night to experience these Medivale towns . Fairly easy acces from Ventigmillia through a valley with a stop at Dolceaqua on the way up. Some good parking in Apricale once you transit the centre on...

We booked here on someone's recommendation, it was a bit disappointing. The village was wonderful and we ate in marvellous restaurants but the accommodation was not great and the staff were very offhand about the whole thing. Cute hotel, all the rooms are different and are in different locations so everyone's experience is unique. We loved our room and the view. Breakfast is great and the girl looking after it is lovely and can speak English well (lucky for us!).

well located all over the old town in the very nice, thiugh turisric, Apricale. each room is different ao you might get newer or older, nicer or less nicer. but globally the stay was very nice, service great. breakfast is nice too, though the breakfast room is not that nice; one would have appreciate a terasse....

Beautiful village and very nice staff. Not much English spoken, but a little French and sign language gets you all the way. The rooms we stayed in were very beautiful and the bathrooms were really modern and nice. A great experience for the whole family, from eight to forty. The village has some really nice restaurants. And a nice pizza...

Definitely something different. Place is so quiet, has so breathtaking views and very charming rooms inside castle. Very modern and spacioIus bathroom and every room is a bit different than the other. And they way to the hotel was BEAUTIFUL. Breakfast was quite average, but it was included in the price. Rooms so small you can hardly turn. Squeaky place you will hear every step from other rooms and from the street, you might like furnishings but I just didn't. Personal is very kind though and cleanness was OK, at breakfast they served some typical local specialties so it was quite good. There was no WiFi available in the hotel!

Stayed here last week. Wonderful room, wish we could have stayed longer. Staff very helpful especially Emannuela. Breakfast splendid. Check there website, they have really made an effort, with 40 different rooms/suites throughout the village. If Apricale isn't a world heritage site it should be.
