Be noted I stay here in winter of 2014 and photos from then. Small, a bit outdated room I stayed in. But B/F was free of charge and staffs were kind I remember. In winter I would recommend you to avoid here coz room was quite cold inside. This place would be just for 1 night biz trip stay if... More

I and my colleagues stayed in Pohang for 5 nights, Sunday thru Friday. Pohang is a working class city on the East Sea. Small by Korea standards, its the home of Posco Steel and a large ROK Marine Base. We knew the Benikea Hotel brand from a stay at Songtan, Pyeongteak, so chose the Pohang Benikea. The hotel is a... The hotel offers fairly small, but clean and comfortable rooms. I wouldn't go out of my way to stay here, but it's close to my client and within walking distance to some restaurants. All in all, it's just OK; nothing special.

I spent two nights at this hotel. The welcome and check-in was more than cold. The internet is slow and usually you have to switch networks every 15 minutes. In the middle of the night (23:30) someone decided to test the fire alarms. It stopped only after I called the reception. But little did I know, that 30 minutes later... More

Travelled August 2014, Solo/Business travel. 7 nights. As most other reviews say, there isn't much going on in Pohang, it's very industrial & there's next to nothing to do in you're free time here. This hotel is probably about as good as you'll get here in Pohang. Good Points: - Mostly english speaking staff, who are friendly & helpful -... More

Not a high-end resort, but a lot better than some other 'business motels' that I have stayed in. Extremely friendly and helpful front desk staff, who had good english-speaking staff available. (if not always answering the phone!) Excellent free internet connection available in room via LAN cable to laptop, with free wifi available in lobby/restaurant. Rooms could do with a... More

Only if you find yourself stuck staying the night IN Pohang, as my wife and I did recently, should you consider staying at the Ramada Encore. We found the hotel a bit dirty, the staff rather aloof, and the quality of sleep very poor. The bed was "springy" and uncomfortable and the sheets very old, thin, and stained. Worse though,... More

Small rooms, small bath room. Some English TV chanels. Some km away from center of city. If you want a easy Hotel without big Service and cheap Price,... More

Good clean rooms, good internet. Limited western menu available, closes 9:30pm, not good if you are working late and don't want to go out. No room service avaiable, but you order and take to your room. Away from city centre, about 15-20 minutes walk. Staff are friendly and helpful, good level of English spoken. OK for working base.

I visited in December on business for a week. The hotel is one of the nicer one’s in Pohang that are foreign traveler friendly. The staff were always ready to help with any request. The rooms are of varying sizes, I have stayed in the smallest(225 sqft) and the largest(300 sqft). The dinner menu is small but the good and... More
