We stayed here for 3 nights. Hotel Novacento was by far the loveliest place we stayed in Sicily. Quiet, calm and gentle town of Scicli. Wonderful staff, and great breakfast every morning. We would highly recommend. Scicli is a smart base location to visit Modica, Ragusa or just stroll around Scicli. Simply the best!

Beautifully restored 9th century building hosts the Novocento hotel. Located right in the heart of the beautiful lively small town of Scicli with lots to see and do. Well fitted rooms, courtyard garden and lovely breakfast room and cafe, this hotel is a nice place to stop. Breakfast was great, fresh local bread and home made produce. Offered freshly squeezed...

Admittedly it was a little hard to find but I was very pleased with everything. I had what I think is the best room - ground floor overlooking the courtyard garden. A small bird had built its nest in one of the potted trees while I was there! The staff are VERY friendly and helpful - they contributed a lot...

What a great hotel, great location (if a bit hard to find) Fantastic clean hotel, well above average. Nice staff and a breakfast that sets you up for the day. Beautiful historic building with some nice modern touches. Lovely restaurant just over the bridge as well.

We chose this holiday destination as we are both huge fans of the detective series, Inspector Montalbano and to celebrate our wedding anniversary. This was our first holiday is Sicily. Our travel agents chose Hotel Novocento, as it was so close to the famous steps. We had a lovely welcome from our host and were absolutely delighted with our bedroom,...

The accommodation, the food, the town, with its lovely cobbled streets, fun street restaurants and delightful shops was a great experience. Just the right size village, terrific atmosphere, and lovely small hotel with helpful friendly management, and devine breakfasts. We thoroughly recommend this place (which we found through a recommendation in The Guardian). Churches perched on hillsides good exercise. Jill...

Hotel in good position for sight seeing. Such a lovely quaint town. Hotel courtyard very pretty but needs some attention to tidying it up. Two ground floor rooms off courtyard, one was lovely the second had no outside window (apart from locked shutter which was onto street) large with a sofa bed. I would had had a problem in this...

We stayed here for 3 nights in March. We found the place by accident really - it is difficult to find. once we arrived the host was very welcoming and we could park our car outside i the small piazza. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful, breakfasts were good and the location was great! We stayed in the downstairs...

It is centrally located in a small street in probably the most charming little town in Sicily, at a short walking distance from shops, restaurants and attraction. It is difficult to find it, even with a GPS, so ask for direction ahead. It is located in a small palazzo which underwent skillful and tasteful renovation. The nine rooms are all...

Yesterday was our first time visiting Scicli and we were awestruck by the charm and beauty of the city. I can't imagine a better place to stay than Hotel Novecento. The hotel is beautiful, our room was fantastic and the location is superb. The breakfast was excellent with a good selection of fresh fruit, bread, pastries, cheeses, cereal and juices....
