My husband and I wanted to get away to a warm, quiet location. This is the sport. The resort is beautiful. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Our room was cleaned each day with fresh towels. The beach is lovely and the water swings are so fun.

Although we were there during the "low" season there was still enough to do. We enjoyed the pools, beach, and restaurants. If you love boats, this is also a great spot. Some spectacular yachts dock at the Marina. There are two restaurants on-site (both excellent )and several within walking distance, Wally's, Snappas, and a few others.

In addition, there is a wine and grocery store at the entrance to the resort. Another great thing to know - there is laundry available on-site. Oh and don't underestimate the value of the swing on your balcony! It was a beautiful way to relax.

While the island is still recovering from the deviation of the hurricane in 2019, the island is working hard to make a comeback. Please support the island.

I just returned from a week in Abaco, and the experience was unparalleled. The boat we chartered was based in the Abaco Beach Resort harbor, which is beautiful and well maintained. We had to come back five days into our trip for a government mandated COVID test, which took place at the resort. Everyone was very friendly and made the experience as nice as it could be.

My biggest accolade goes to the restaurant. I had the most amazing spicy chicken sandwich! Marjorie, our waitress, was like a ray of sunshine! She was absolutely a delight and a really exceptional waitress.

Beautiful location and exceptional service. This resort has amazing views from any room and all restaurants. The front desk and restaurant servers are amazing. They helped out with complicated transport bookings, provided local knowledge about things to do and people to meet. The Bistro dining in the main area of the resort is exceptional. I was disappointed in my room. Poor maintenance meant that I barely slept in a mouldy dark room. I managed a short snooze on the porch in the early morning. I recommend calling and discussing your room before booking to ensure you get a good room that has been aired out in advance of your checkin.

We came here for lunch, and to use the pool which used to be included, as we had been assured by staff when we called for a reservation. We spent $200 on a pretty mediocre meal, and were informed by an unpleasant old white dude that we could not use the uninhabited pool unless we were hotel guests.

Staff and view were great. Crying 8 year old who wanted to use the pool was a bummer

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent visit to our resort restaurant and to share aspects of your dining experience that did not meet your expectation. I have shared your comments with our F&B team so that they can investigate further and take corrective action from their findings. Further, only guests of the hotel or marina are allowed use of the resort pool. Alternatively, the resort does offer the purchase of a Day Pass (Adult/Kid) that would have allowed use of the pool. We do apologize that this information was not clearly communication to you so that you could have made a better purchase decision. It has always been the policy of the resort that guests to the restaurant do not have access or use of the resort pool. Our Operation Team will work even harder to ensure that this information is communicated more clearly to our restaurant guests in the future. Again, thank you for your feedback.

Every employee we encountered was wonderful. Overall I felt everything was overpriced for the quality. As an example my first drink from the beach tiki bar was a tiny plastic cup of premixed rum punch pored from a milk jug for 15.40.
An overcooked ribeye at the bistro restaurant was 78.00 and included no sides (they were extra) not even bread.
Our room was ok. Nothing special but with the king terrace room we could walk right out the patio door to the beach which was wonderful. We found only one chair on the whole beach that wasn’t missing webbing. Such an easy fix that did not seem to be a priority but just in the week we were there I heard multiple guests complaining about the lack of beach chairs
Employees all wonderful. Special thanks to Carolyn that took us down the road to play tennis in her own car due to hotel advertising they had tennis courts that had not been repaired after the hurricane. I will say that the management definitely made that up to us which we appreciated

In March 2021 I had a reservation to stay here for one night before leaving on a sailing trip. We ran into flight problems and the Abaco Beach Resort was extremely helpful and canceled our room without a penalty. The next day we flew in and stayed on our boat while docked at the marina, and it was very nice. The marina is like new after being rebuilt post-Dorian. The staff were all helpful and friendly, and the restaurant was good. The food was a little slow coming out but we were in no hurry. Marsh Harbor is still dealing with a lot of problems from the hurricane and the water went out while we were there, but this was not the hotel's fault and they did their best to get it back up and running as fast as they could.

We stayed here after a hard day of work and had the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful beach in pristine water, without crowds. The rooms were very nice with wonderful views. The only thing is they don’t offer free water. The restaurant is expensive but there are cheaper options at walking distance

Ran the boat from Green Turtle Cay to Abaco beach resort for lunch….great weather perfect ride….pulled in to grab lunch backed into the slip Bertram came to help us with the lines…..as he was about to tie us off he informed us that there’s a $90……docking fee….YES $90 I explained we just came for lunch we weren’t staying the night….he said yes, it’s $90 slip fee….when I was done laughing we purchased 3 bags of ice and left!!! Headed to Abaco Inn for an amazing lunch! Another solid management decision! Now we have to find somewhere else for all our summer guest to stay….ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!

Stayed here for 4 nights at a cost of $482.59 Inc taxes per night.
The room had a view of the ocean, but the facilities & decor were poor & extremely dated.
The entrance door to my room looked filthy on the exterior. Dirty marks all over it.
The hairdryer was very old, rusty and felt like it was about to stop working at any minute.
The iron was also useless and did not get hot enough even on highest temperature.
The bathroom itself was terribly dated. The toilet moved every time I sat on it.
Sewage was leaking out of sn overflowing drain near to the swimming pool by the main reception building.
There was also a strong smell of toilets in and around the hotel including the reception and In various other locations.
The beach was ok, but most of the sun loungers were damaged with slats missing so basically unusable as where you sit the slat or slats were completely gone.
For the money we paid, there was not even a small bottle of complementary water in our room for our arrival which was pretty poor.
The restaurant in the main reception was lacklustre and extremely expensive. No atmosphere whatsoever and bright lights.
Luckily we were able to leave the hotel and eat in other restaurants up the road.
Overall very disappointing and not a place I would choose to revisit through choice.

I stayed two nights at Abaco Beach Resort with my friend as we were island hopping! Our goal was to eat, sleep and play. Our room was spacious, bed was comfy and the bathroom was dreamy. The mirror lit up, which I appreciate when getting ready. Our room had a beautiful and calming view of the marina and beach. The property and the beach had my activities from ping pong to paddle boards and everything in between for the active. The concierge also assisted us with ferry information and calling taxis. For dinner, we ate at the Bistro. The service was attentive and charismatic. The food was so delicious we dined there the next night too. I highly recommend the conch chowder. It’s very meaty! I’ll be dreaming about that soup until I return! Overall, I had a relaxing stay and I truly hope to come back soon.
