Such a treat when we were lead into our comfy quaint French retreat. Beautiful view out our window... nice to have open but very noisy road. They provide a great French door that shuts out all road noise too!!! Staff was very lovely. Large buffet breakfast for 9 euro lots of charm and character. Highly recommend to start here for... Spent a night here as a stop on the Camino. It's a bed and breakfast place, but I was surprised at the overall level of charm and comfort of my room. There was some nice furniture, good decor, a comfortable bed, and a modern and and well appointed bathroom with a shower. It's very well situated for the railway station... More

I started here one night in my route to Santiago de Compostela. The stay and breakfeast was great. The welcome at arrival was very friendly and I was guided to my room to refresh immediately. The breakfeast the dat after was great.

Loved that the place was central and especially the early checkin. 1230 is standard but we got already in at 11.00. Great for starting Camino breakfast was possible at 6.30am - earliest in town. Also great cafe au lait and the breakfast had very crispy croissants.

We started the first day of the Camino Way from this hotel. They cater for pilgrims insofar as all of your luggage needs and breakfast starts at 6.30am so you can get an early start. Our room had a small ensuite complete with very noisy WC and the furnishings were quite old. The owners however are very friendly and accommodating... More

We arrived in St. Jean de Pied on a lovely Wednesday afternoon in September. We were met by a lovely lady who showed us to our room. A beautifully quaint and original room with a lovely modern ensuite. Breakfast next morning at 7AM before we headed off on our first day's walk was very nice - not what we are... More

A combination type small hotel. Cafe, bar, restaurant of sorts and clean basic but functional rooms. Limited English but friendly and efficient service. Good size room overlooking street and unusual good size bathroom.

Just across the road from the hotel is the archway into the older part of town where you can find the Camino Office and start of the Camino. The staff don't have much English but are very helpful and friendly. There are only seven rooms. You can sit on the small terrace at the front of the hotel and have... More

After a long journey that started on the US west coast, I wanted space to repack for my Camino walk, to check with home (via wifi), and to get a good night sleep. The kind woman at reception showed me to my room right away and it met all of these needs with the area to lay out all my... More

We stayed here the night before starting the Camino. The rooms are quaint and cosy. The staff are very welcoming and accomodating. When we arrived outside we were a bit worried because outside did not look great. However, we need not have worried. Inside was very good and just what we needed. Breakfast was very good and set us up... More
