You can eat a big quantity of food for 15 eur the lunch menu if you are not pilgrim. The service is a little bit slow but very gently and the food quality is nice. Un lugar muy acogedor para comer abundante energeticamente. Hay que tener paciencia con el servicio, son pocos pero muy amables. Barato y bueno! Spaghuetti carbonara...

Literally the first hotel within sight when you descend out of the Pyrenees. Love this place. The food is perfect for a pilgrim and the conversation among travelers is sublime and gratifying. Love the camino and love this location

My wife and I loved this place. Hiking into Roncesvalles on the Camino de Santiago, the village looms like it must have looked 500 years ago. And then coming here only adds to that feeling. A warm and welcoming bar with a great fire. Excellent restaurant. And a comfortable room at a reasonable price. This is what we hoped the...

I enjoyed my evening here. Yummy cold beer shandies on the veranda and an excellent pilgrims menu, all good value for money. I thought the rooms were quite smart and I loved this little town. Loved the architectural style as well as the location as it was on our camino route and very close to the cathedral.

We stayed in Posada de Roncesvalles after a cold and very wet day (June 10th 2015) walking from St Jean on our camino. The room had no heat and was badly needed considering the terrible weather that day. Room was large, clean, bed was comfy but we really needed the heating or any means to dry out our clothes or...

After Orisson, the was our second stop on the Camino and the first in Spain. It certainly didn't disappoint: service was excellent from the capable young man at the bar to the lady who checked us in. Thought that we recognised her - she appears on the poster with her mother and Martin Sheen. We had a spacious double room...

The Posada had very spacious rooms and a very nice pilgrim meal with fresh trout, salad, pasta and yoghurt and good wine. The wifi was a bit spotty and breakfast could be a bit earlier in the morning for the pilgrims who like to get an early start. It was great to walk into the bar with a nice fire...

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable, not luxurious but with everything needed. Kitchen prepares meals on demand. I've got nothing more to comment. A very nice place to stay, in my opinion.

We arrived here exhausted after the first day climb of the Camino. The rooms were very clean, neat and tidy. It was pure joy to be able to sink into a welcome, hot bath and begin to recover from our exertions of the day. The pilgrim meal was good value for money and the portions were more than adequate. We...

We stayed here overnight and had the Pilgrims meal for dinner. Perhaps not as generous as the refuge in Orrison, but the rooms were a significant step up. After walking over the Pyrenees the private bathroom was a blessing. The wifi is free and works well in the bar, but no where else. Book well in advance or end up...
