This was, by far, the most unusual place I stayed while walking the Camino. My room was small but clean and comfortable. To get to it, however, I walked through two rather large living rooms that weren't used at all in my time there. The wifi was good and the location was great - close to everything but on a...

Yes, this hotel looks like a nursing home or what it actually is... A convent. Super Spartan and no frills. Clean. Small bathroom... Shower teeny tiny and no tub. Location was good and convenient and the nuns were welcoming and nice. No buffet for breakfast. A nun served our table and brought us delicious coffee con leche and baguettes and...

This hotel is run by the nuns and as such is quiet, clean and unspectacular. That said it is exactly what is needed when walking the camino. The hotel is big and has plenty of corners where one can relax and read a book. The rooms are a good size and have decent bathrooms and shower facilities. Everything is clean...

Stayed for one night while walking the Camino. The room and breakfast was very basic and served the purpose but it lacked atmosphere, not exactly a pick for a holiday stay. Would recommend an alternative.

We knew this was run by the Cisterian nuns when we booked, so expected quiet and no nonsense. We were checked in quickly, advised where our room was (and it was a long walk to it - past huge sitting rooms and TV rooms). The rooms were clean and the bathroom very much so. The shower had nice hot water...

Not to much English at check in but our broken Spanish got us rooms. Very quiet. Very staid. Some lovely sitting rooms. Rooms are all spotlessly clean. No real highlights but it served a need. Breakfast was very basic would recommend going elsewhere.

Beautiful little town and the Hotel is a surprise. Twin beds again but a ceiling fan or AC would have been nice, after a 37 C day- hot night though, really need AC or a fan. The room was very clean but on the small size. Great deck nearby, which was good for drying our daily laundry. The bathroom was...

We stayed here while walking the Camino Frances. I remember it with great fondness. Incredibly clean rooms and a warm experience. No one spoke English, but the smiles were warm and welcoming. Breakfast is standard - most items are from a package, but certainly adequate.

I thought I had walked into a care home by mistake, deathly quiet and people sitting around in a lounge area, looking somewhat askance at me, to the left of the entrance. All women, so I had a sudden concern that men were not welcome. This was not helped by the initial attitude of the nun on reception. She was...

This is a nice, clean and comfortable hotel, which is actually a convent. An older nun was working the front desk and seemed completely lost as to what to do and without a word of English checking in was almost comical, but she was very pleasant. It was actually the housekeeper who helped. Very simple room, twin beds and a...
