I chose Casa Wasilla based on the Google reviews, in hindsight I should have looked closer. There are only 4 reviews... Good location, the property is quaint, the rooms are very small, the floors are painted concrete, the walls are very thin. As a consequence, it's noisy - in my room next to the bathroom, I could hear everything that...

This is an oasis of peace and harmony along the Camino. Paul and his wife are fabulous hosts and cater solely to peregrines like us. There were three other guests there; a couple from New York and a get lemon from San Francisco. We were served a delicious home made dinner in an intimate dining room and felt as if...

Loved this B&B! Very friendly hosts. Suggest staying in the room on the 2nd floor, with your own bathroom across the hall (the other 2 rooms upstairs share a bathroom). Provided with bath robes, hair dryer, so comforting after many nights in packed dorms. For breakfast, they can make you what you like! Pancakes, fresh fruit, eggs, etc. Delicious!

Don't be fooled by photos. Room does not have a private bathroom and is not that clean. Bathroom is down the hall across from the owners dining room and kitchen. Its bare minimum with no Wifi not TV. Owner took serious attitude to the point of being Nasty when I asked to please reduce the noise level at 11 pm...

I stayed at Casa Waslala for 1 night in April,2015 on the Camino. Paul and his wife are wonderful hosts, very helpful to tired pilgrims. Paul is full of excellent advice. Take it! The hospitality was amazing and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to meet these people. Very good breakfast too.

I stayed in this place for one night on the Camino. It is centrally situated, just off the pleasant Plaza Mayor of Belorado. The hosts I found quite welcoming and friendly. The establishment is not luxorious, but clean. However, both matresses in my room were completely worn and therefor totally unsuitable to sleep on. Even in a budget-friendly place, this...

After cycling into Belorado after a long hard stretch from Torres de Rio we came across this little gem. Nicely tucked in off the main square this was the perfect place to bed down and relax for the night. Our host, Paul, and his wife couldn't have done enough for us and provided us with much needed guidance as we...

Casa Waslala was like home away from home. Paul and his wife are the most welcoming couple and nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation is a beautiful home and my window looked out onto a church and Castle ruins. Spent about 40 minutes chatting to Paul over breakfast in the kitchen. You can't go to Belorado and not visit...

The cutest of all places! Only 3 rooms for max 6 people.Very cozy and well decorated . Got a room with a view of the church's bell tower with it's storks nests above. Lovely. Bathroom outside the room but only for me. Everything was perfectly clean. Owner helped me find an albergue for my next stop in El Camino. And...

Day ten of the Camino and I faced a full day of rain in the 23 km walk from Santo Domingo. The previous night I spent considerable time researching for accommodation in Belorado. Requirements were, clean accommodation, quiet, realistic price and some character, not just another hotel or Albergue. Called ahead, made reservation, arrived early afternoon and in the main...
