Spent two weeks at the Alkyon for the fourth time and although we enjoyed every one we found this to be a big improvement on our previous visits due to the fact that the meals are now of a buffet type with plenty of choice, meals were always hot and there was something for everyone, breakfast was continental but was...

Just got back from the Alkyon and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were lovely and friendly and the food was fabulous. The breakfasts aren't really up to much unless you like boiled eggs and toast but you can get a lovely full English for 2 euro extra so not really complaining. Lots of restaurants and shops just 100 yards down...

Travelled with thomson, hotel has a good sized pool, plenty of sun buns and is very clean. Also is right at the end of the strip and opposite the beach so never needed to get any taxis. Rooms are also very spacious and simple which we were happy with but we paid extra for a double room and ended up...

Staff friendly , food fine though only problem was food not always covered from files however in the main good though repetitive. Breakfast basic but ok. Would return if staying in sidari. No electric or water for 2/3 hours due to storm but that was beyond...

The Hotel is very basic with very small rooms. You have to pay extra for air con, fridge and a cooked breakfast which is pretty pathetic. On our visit we had a power cut which also caused us to have no water. The Hotel management simply ignored these problems and should have provided bottled water so guests could at least wash their hands and...

Stayed at the Alkion in Sidari at the end of August start of September for 2 weeks halfboard. We had a room on the first floor, double bed, at the back of the property. The room itself was small, although reading other reviews I think the size of the rooms may differ from room to room. The bathroom was really...

Visited from 20/08/15 - 04/09/15 with my 16 year old daughter. This was my third visit to Sidari and I chose this hotel from both other reviews and my own viewings during previous visits. It's in a perfect location to the strip, beach and Canal d'amor. We took the half board option which included breakfast of meats, cheese, croissants, bread...

We spent the last week of August there. Hotel was lovely & clean. Staff are very friendly, food was good, great salads & a variety of hot food. Breakfast was ok, could have a bit more choice. It was a great location, just five mins walk to the beach & to the main strip of Sidari, so you were close...
