We very much enjoyed our stay at The Escape in Pennal. The location is beautiful and we had a view from our room of the hills and the sheep. The room was spotless with a very comfortable bed. Lots of thought had gone into providing toiletries, an honesty bar and a welcome pack. The breakfasts were delicious with locally sourced...

If visiting Aberdovey or surrounding areas this is a MUST stay Guest House. It is a real gem of a find. Located conveniently for access to Aberdovey but removed from the crowds in a quiet village with sheep for company. The owners are helpful, friendly and have given real thought to beautiful touches in the rooms. Everything is fresh and...

This B&B has a terrific website, easy to use to search and book. The Escape itself is a lovely house in a very quiet but accessible location, with fields behind. The rooms were warm and cosy, great bed and linen, beautifully clean. The breakfasts were generous and delicious. A very good stay, thank you.

I stayed for two nights last summer. Weather was bad but The Escape more than made up for that. I used to stay in Twywn as a youngster so came back for a visit (30 + years later) with my sister and some more family. We went to all the places we used to visit all those years ago and...

We booked a last minute night away at The Escape and were most impressed. Apart from the excellent rooms and friendly welcome, it was the attention to detail that impressed us the most. They have a "trust system" with a little fridge on the landing so you can help yourself to wine / beer... which is a brill idea! There...

The breakfasts beautifully cooked and all well presented. The rooms tastefully decorated and everything thought of down to the essential toiletries as well as luxury items. Will definitely visit...

Lovely B&B, we had a nicely furnished and clean room with a scenic view of the sheep and lambs in the field and woods beyond. Friendly and helpful owners, who showed us where the local walks were and the best eating places. Close to the Mach mountain bike trails which are a short ride up the road by bike. Aberdovey...

We enjoyed a 3 night stay over the May bank holiday, and were lucky with the weather too! Stuart and Lucie are very hospitable and friendly, the room we had on the ground floor was very comfortable (a super bed), and extremely quiet. Stuart's breakfasts are excellent. The Riverside pub in the village was frankly disappointing, nothing like its website...
