We had booked in to stay for one night, but due to various delays had arrived late and missed the kitchen so they phoned around found somewhere open and booked us into an excellent restaurant elsewhere on the island

Accommodation here was a mixed bag. The room was very nice. Decent size, good linens and nice bathroom. Our checkin was a bit odd - the youngish woman who checked us in seemed a bit agitated - but all the same we got checked in and got on our way. Got a good night's sleep and the older couple who...

I chose this place to stay a weekend in Achill Island based on a friend recommendation, and I wasn't disappointed at all. Owners are very friendly, the place is so neat and clean, I can say this is one of the cleanest hotels I've ever been to. The location is great and the breakfast was so nice. Recommended for anyone...

We had a very pleasant stay at Achill Lodge. Our room was comfortable and very clean with a very large bathroom. One thing it lacked was a good big window, but not much could be done about that. The staff were very friendly and suggested good places to eat. The breakfast was outstanding - freshly cooked and done to perfection...

This was a convenient and comfortable spot to stay during our too brief stop on Achill Island. Breakfast was great, and our room was clean and spacious. Our hosts were helpful and answered any questions I had about where to eat, and what to see.

Rooms were tidy and clean. Bathroom was as well. Free wifi, a bit slow at times. Nice and quiet. We could have used a little more information on places to eat and what times restaurants closed at. Most close very early. Overall, a nice, clean place to rest your head

Just three of us travelling so we took a triple room which was on the ground floor in the new house(the silver strand) We were set at our ease immediately in a very relaxed environment. Room was spotless and fresh, as for the bathroom I just don't how the Deery's got it so clean! One minor item, we thought the...

A warm welcome awaited myself and my two children for four nights of the fantastic Scoil Acla: a week of music, culture and arts on Achill Island. All our needs and requests were facilitated to the highest standard and with a smile at all times. Our cosy room was our base for 5days/4nights, the use of the kitchen was a...

Relaxing, clean, private, friendly and great food. Spent an overnight here while exploring the island and cannot say a bad word about the lodge. Not far from Keel where there are excellent restaurants and a gorgeous view!
