Achill is remote and quiet. Perfect for walkers who don't mind a little rain or someone needing some peace and quiet. Spent a weekend in the Bervie and it was a lovely experience start to finish. Used to going up and down to Achill on family holidays but escaped without children and the Bervie was the perfect place to stay....

This place was recommended to us when visiting Achill. The food was beyond our expectations, everything was cooked perfectly and it was so fresh and so full of flavour. The wine selection was really well thought out. The place is adorable with a very homely feel. We just wished we had also booked our accommodation here too but maybe next...

The Bervie is without a doubt one of the most welcoming places I have ever stayed in. A beautifully kept and decorated building, with warm and cosy rooms. We stayed in a room with a view of the sea and the sound of the ocean at night was wonderful. It is expensive for B&B but worth it if you are...

That's all I need say. Everything was impeccably wonderful. The welcome, the room, the beds, the linen, the decor, the paintings, the food, the service, the garden, the views, the art studio on the grounds. Except the weather which was not wonderful but which Elizabeth would have fixed if she could. One of the best places I have stayed or...

I can't recommend this place high enough. The hosts are extremely welcoming and kind. They went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We are especially grateful to the way they accommodated our son who had additional needs. The photos just don't do the Bervie and surroundings justice. The food was beautiful and the staff so friendly and helpful...

We had a fantastic night at the Bervie, wonderfully cared for by the owners of the B&B. The room was spacious, beautifully furnished with a little bay window seating area with a good view of the sea. The B&B fronts onto the Atlantic Ocean and although the weather was very chilly with the wind blowing off the sea shore, we...

Initially I wasn't sure about this - it seemed expensive for a'B&B' but I can assure you this destination is unique and like no other B&B I have stayed at. The setting is magical, we had a bedroom looking over the beach. The rooms were well appointed and the bed was extremely comfortable. You might as well go the whole...

This was the second consecutive year that my wife and I have stayed at the Bervie and, once again, it did not disappoint. Very comfortable hotel, with a terrific staff, all of whom treat you with ultra friendly care, all of which starts with the owners, Elizabeth and John, who are wonderful. We were there with family, brothers and sisters...
