I stayed in the Green Garden Hostel for two weeks, which works together with the Beija Flor Hostel. Both hostels are very well organized, separately, as well as in their work together. The owners are open and friendly and manage to create a very familiar atmosphere by caring about their guests. They try to help you in every way possible. No matter if it’s about your stay in the hostel or your plans and trips in your freetime. The social areas are comfy and clean! I loved my time here and would come back anytime!

We are a mature couple and therefore are always looking for a place that is quiet at night, clean and has those comforts that I want such as good pillows, hot water, enough room to move around the bed, lock on room, friendly people, kitchen just in case we decide to cook and we found it all here. Daniel and Paola and their adorable little boy were welcoming, gave us to a of information about their lovely town along with a map to help us out. They both speak English which is very helpful for me as I do not speak much Spanish yet. Their hostel/hotel has some beautiful wall art in each room. They have tons of open space both inside and in the courtyard. They had a fire 🔥 one evening to celebrate someone’s birthday. Daniel was installing a projector to watch movies in one room and in another they had a tv to watch Netflix. We were in a quiet, private room with comfortable bed and en-suite. It was upstairs as the villa has two floors. They also have a number of dorms for those who like to share a room. The kitchen was available for us all as well. They had drinking water for us which was appreciated. The villa is in town about 4-5 blocks from the main square. Really quiet at night. The town is lovely. Great place to wander around. Tons of cute shops including a chocolate shop and chocolate museum!! The people are very friendly. We were there the night of the election and I am sure the whole town was out in the square. The first picture is of the hotel. There are 3 doors, the car right takes you upstairs and the next 2 are for downstairs. We can’t recommend this highly enough. As mentioned Daniel and Paola go out of their way to ensure you are comfortable.

Little hotel 1 1/2 blocks away from the plaza mayor. Comfortable room with shared bathroom. Liked it but no breakfast, but no big deal as restaurants are close by. Cool hangout area in the back. Safe parking for motorcycle of bicycle

We stay one night at Casa Beija Flor, in a double room with private bathroom. Daniel and his family welcomed us wonderfully. They had a lot of advice to help us make the most of your time at Villa de Leyva! Great atmosphere. The double room was large and very comfortable!
