Staff members were very friendly and attentive. Three food items ordered are the reason for the review. I asked if the oatmeal was stirred with hot water or cooked. Since it is as cooked oatmeal I ordered it. Oatmeal is one of my favourite breakfast items. It was so watery, and the incredibly lumpy that I could not eat it. The server graciously removed it from my bill.
The dry, ‘loaded’ three egg omelette, contained raw green peppers and uncooked onion with chunks of tough onion root base. I did not have the heart to mention the omelette after also being unable to complete the cheesecake. The dry crumbly crust had a hint of burnt taste, the filling was more pasty than creamy and was warm, having been frozen and popped into a microwave to thaw. The worse cheesecake ever. The server claimed that it was the first ever complaint about their cheesecake and offered to compensate with a piece of pie, which I did not accept. Coffee refills were forthcoming, however my cup was empty for a time. I was invited to return so they could make overtures to compensate, another time. I will visit the dining room again and now know which food items to not order.

Desperate for a place to stay on our way back to New Brunswick we took the last room here late at night. The tip off was the impromptu drinking party going on in the parking lot upon our arrival, as well as the rusty butt can propping open the door with the sign posted about keeping the door closed at all times. The locals frequent this place for partying, and it shows. I counted four spiders in the room before stopping my tally and just accepting the fact of my plight. If you are desperate then stay here. Otherwise, pay $20 more elsewhere.

Upon arrival, we were welcomed nice. A friendly clerk said our room was all paid for by our daughter n family which she delivered the message “Happy 30th Anniversary “. That was the only nice thing about the stay. Their website said dining room and lounge open from 8-8 with complimentary breakfast. We got neither! We will never return!!

Stayed at this hotel in August. Not worth the $100. The room was filthy, with hairs on the sink and tub. The carpet appeared very unclean. The room smelled of cigarette smoke, the wifi did not work and the staff was not friendly. Save yourself from stress.

This hotel is honestly the most disgusting hotel we've ever stayed in. We are regular travelers this is #1 for the worst hotel stay. Dirty+++ , broken/dirty windows, smelled like cigarettes+++, bed spread full of crumbs and dirt. Drug addicts hanging out at back entrance. Hallway rug looks like hasn't been vacuumed in over 10 years. Do not stay here! Scary. Not worth the $. It's a year down hotel.

We go for breakfast almost every Sunday. It is quite popular by the locals. It is very good and very good value. Waitresses are attentive, friendly and efficient. The restaurant is in need of upgrading by a great deal as does the whole hotel but is more or less offset by good food in the restaurant.

Never again. Sorry for not reading others reviews. An unpleasnat place. Better to avoid such disapointment. We paid for onr night but did not stay. We left the room as soon as we realized our mistake. We found another place to stay for the nighy. It was a great relief.

Absolutely tremendous. Very old rundown dirty place, advertised pool when it was unusable with no water, service was horrible and our room was hard to find, suspicious stains on the walls and floors, there were spiderwebs with a spider in our bathroom, paint job was halfway done, and half of the lights did not work. This hotel felt like we were in a horror movie. Not recommended. Tried to put 0 stars but it wouldn’t let me.

Booked through booking.com and unhappy doesn't even begin to describe our experience. We couldn't stay it was that bad. Got a full refund and no hassle about it so the staff is aware of the run down state of the hotel. Where to start? Stains. Stains on everything! Carpet in the stairwell and halls. Stains on the mattresses so bad you wonder what the heck could have happened , stains on every single towel in the bathroom. Mattresses are old ( like 30 years or more) , so old you can feel the springs and unforgiving in their hardness. The dated feel and smell was enough to drive us away. Then the discovery of the stains sent us out the door.
