We stayed at this hotel for one night. I use a walker so we were given an accessible room on the first floor - this was very convenient for us and we appreciated it. My favourite part of the stay was chatting with Joanna, the front desk clerk. She was friendly and informative. We really enjoyed talking with her. My husband appreciated the air conditioning in our room. If I had anything negative to comment on - the toilet paper could be softer. I would definitely recommend this as a great place to stay.

This hotel is not worth your money, stay anywhere else. I’ve stayed at many comfort Inns in the past and this is by far the worst. The carpet is circa 1970 (imagine your grandma’s blue living room carpet), the furniture is so tired it’s screaming to be thrown out. The windows need to be replaced… really a full gut job is needed. The breakfast was sub-par (comparing to other Comfort Inns)… the only reason I gave it 3 stars is because the staff deserve 5 stars. The building deserves 2 at best.

Although this may not be a downtown Marriott hotel is warm comfortable and friendly. Although the morning breakfast is nothing very special the rooms were cleaned Every day with fresh towels. The hotel was a little hard to find for the first time as all the lights in the sign or not working and I arrived in the late evening. The receptionist was very friendly and accommodating and wanted to make sure everything was fine even received a call in my room five minutes after I got in to make sure everything was OK.

This is a budget friendly hotel. It was very clean and had everything necessary. The staff were phenomenal, they could not be more cheery and doing everything possible to help an make you comfortable. This is also a pet frendly hotel. The breakfast bar was nothing to rave about but it fit the bill for the budget. We will definately stay there again any time we are in Bridgewater NS.

I rated this as excellent solely based on the customer care received primarily from Joanne at the front desk. I was in urgent need of a place to stay close to the hospital for a family emergency during a time when vacancies were so limited. We were instantly put at ease once we connected with Joanne. She listened and responded with compassion and immediate action. Going above and beyond. I travel often and have experience dealing with hotel staff on all levels and she by far exceeded every experience I’ve ever had. In regards to the hotel itself it is an older hotel I believe the price fairly reflects that. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the environment was quiet welcoming and friendly. The other staff were great but only had limited interactions. Joanne is the reason I wouldn’t hesitate to return especially during a family medical crisis. She truly had a positive impact during such a difficult time and really made a difference. She IS the kind of hospitality you want and need at all hotels!

we requested joining rooms because of babies. we ended up on opposite sides of motel. receptionist called my my wife a lier after we questioned.
daughter had to change rooms 3 times. first, AC not worked, second curtains fell off walls, third time room was full of ants. we had to share a room for 2 days but paid for 2 rooms. front desk was very very rude. motel is run down and smells moldy. next room had two big dogs that kept barking all hours. do not recommend this place to anyone.

Hotel was clean, quiet and conveniently located.

The gem of this location is just how friendly, inviting and helpful the staff members were. Joanne in particular, like chatting with an old friend. Even gave us some tasty restaurant recommendations! Would definitely recommend a stay here.

We had a great stay ( July 3rd and checked out on July 5th). We stayed here for three days in 2018 as well. Lily at the front counter was awesome, as well as the other ladies. They were very friendly, polite, and professional.

The room was clean and spacious, even with all the dampness outside. We would definitely recommend this motel for anyone that is looking somewhere to stay close to Lunenburg.

Cheers

I can't speak enough about this small comfortable little spot in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia.I know that all Comfort Inns are pretty much the same..but its the wonderful staff at this property that WOW its travellers! Never have I met a friendlier and caring group of people. The young man Gary, working the desk is a role model for "tourism" in Nova Scotia. He greeted us with a warm friendly smile and made us feel at home. He was truly a pleasure to speak with and very knowledgeable about tourism in this province. The Comfort Inn is truly a home away from home...Thank you.

This is one of the oddest hotels I have ever stayed in. Only two floors and no elevator. So what's the big deal. Well, first of all there are no stairs from the lobby to the second floor. In order for a guest to get to the rooms on the second floor, they have to walk to the far end of one of the two corridors, (the hotel is "L" shaped). The stairs to the second floor at the ends of the two hall ways are, for all intense and purpose, the fire exits for both floors.
That's only the beginning. Half of this hotel is smoking rooms. The bottom floor is smoking, the second floor is non-smoking. The result is that the first thing a guest smells upon entering the lobby is, cigarette smoke. The breakfast area in part of the lobby, so everyone gets to smell the smoke when having breakfast. Here's a hint for the owners. If you must allow smoking at least make it on the second floor. That way no one else will have to endure that ghastly smell and for what it's worth most hotels in Canada do not allow smoking anywhere in the hotel. Smoke OUTSIDE. Away from the doors. Only three tables on the breakfast area. Twice that many would not be enough for a hotel this size.

Yes, we stayed in the wheelchair accessible room on the first floor. The light switches were lower so easier to reach if in a wheelchair. The bathroom was very large.
