We came here for us to go zip lining 2 for their first time . we had great instructors Mathias and can't remember the other name but he graduated from Tufts. They took their time instructing and checking our gear. We had a great time even attempted some of the challenges 1 did the upside down one (newbie) . They...

Extraordinary views from our room. Wonderful to get up every morning and start the day with those vistas. The room was very tastefully appointed, maintained and laid out. Loved the outside activities available right there - zip lining, chair lift rides, hiking and hot tubing. Smiling, helpful staff - will definitely be back!

We decided to try the zip-lines on the Sugarloaf ski resort. It was a nice day in the summer so why not? I was expecting a bunch of long runs down the mountain. What we actually got was (6) 100 yard runs with the peak of excitement being a "throw a rock in the bucket" as you slide down the...

We stayed for a night on business and the room was great. Quiet, comfortable, good amenities. I had trouble figuring out the heat, but other than that it was a great experience. I loved the murphy bed in the wall and the lavender bath soaps. It was quiet because of the off season.

I booked a room on June 22nd and was told while on the phone that I had until 14 days before arrival to cancel the reservation or they would keep the deposit. I had something come up and called to cancel my reservation on June 24th (which is outside of the 14 day period). I left a message, as no...

We were there off-season for graduation at Carrabassett Valley Academy and booked a couple rooms for the family. The location was perfect -- at the foot of the mountain and near the school. Staff was extremely friendly. Furniture was a little dated but the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Overall we were very pleased.

If your going skiing at Sugarloaf or visiting off season the Sugarloaf Mountain Hotel is comfortable and very convenient. Parking is near by, elevators and good restaurant with a full bar. Not a luxury hotel, more like a Comfort Inn. I wish that there was more of a year around village at the mountain.

The Sugarloaf Hotel tries to be a luxury resort hotel but falls short. On the plus side, the hotel is located in the village a short walk from the super quad lift and the restaurants, shops and base lodge. The staff is very good and extremely helpful and very accommodating. The restaurant, 45 North is great. And the Boyne mattresses...

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times. It has very easy access to the lifts, a great burger at 45 North and several other restaurants to choose from. It's very family orientated and just a fun atmosphere.
